  • RAW 20th Anniversary Rating Is In.

This week’s 20th Anniversary of WWE Raw did a 3.185 cable rating with an average viewing audience of 4,550,000 viewers on the USA Network. We’re told Vince McMahon was hoping for a 3.5 cable rating with no competition but those in the company feel it’s going to take some time to build the audience for the build to Wrestlemania 29.

I don't see this as a triumph nor a failure. It was an okay show, with not too much to get explosive ratings at any point in time.

Vince, if you wanted a 3.5 or higher, you should've had AUSTIN ON THE SHOW!!!

      Thanks, surrender.

It's the highest rating since the 1000th episode, but that's expected.

It's so-so. The real test will be next week. The Rock is fully worked into the product now, we'll see if it affects the novelty of his appearances.

          Austin had a prior engagement.

I have 1.2k channels on my cable box and I do not have a nielson box. How many of you have a nielson box?

Point is: Ratings don't really reflect the true audience. The Nielson ratings are an estimate guaged by those who participate in the nielson ratings. It's a really innaccurate judgment of who watches anything, tbh.

He just happened to book something on a Monday, which just happens to be the same night as the 20th anniversary show....I wonder if there is something to it to be honest.

                Thanks JV for the artwork!!

Somehow I doubt Austin avoided a big Raw payday on purpose.

This will remain in my sig until The Rock gets his WWE World Heavyweight Championship rematch.

You may be searching too hard on this one. Austin wasn't obligated to be at the 20th, and neither was HBK, Taker, Bret, and the superlonglist. If you were disappointed it was your own fault.

According to what he said on Twitter, he attends this hunting convention every year in Vegas. It's called The Shot Show. Just bad timing.

lol, it could be just the the conspiracist in me, however I wonder if it is more about Austin playing hardball with Vince for a bigger Wrestlemania payday.

HBK from what I read was booked for the same event as Austin. I'm sure they didn't avoid it on purpose, why would they?

Both HBK and SCSA had their gun convention in Vegas.

I would have at least liked to see Triple H or The Undertaker show up.
