  • Anyone got a 2012 W/L record handy?

It's still real to me dammit!!!

But I'd be curious, anyone know of such a list currently being recorded of all the WWE matches this year?

Found a great website that kept all this stuff together.

Has all sorts of info including House Shows but I just want to roll with televised matches.

Win percent rankings for 2012 thus far...

      1. Ryback
      2. Sin Cara
      3. Brodus Clay
      4. Antonio Cesaro
      5. Sheamus
      6. Damien Sandow
      7. R-Truth
      8. John Cena
      9. Titus O'Neil
      10. Randy Orton

      Noticeable rankings...
      19. Daniel Bryan (47.8%)
      20. Alberto Del Rio (47.7%)
      21. CM Punk (46.9%)
      25. Chris Jericho (40%)
      32. Dolph Ziggler (33%)
      43. Heath Slater (15.4%) - Last ranked guy who's wrestled 25 matches this year.

Says a lot about current booking really.

I think more than anything, it shows how little wins and losses matter in most situations.

At least that's how the company views it.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I really couldn't care less whether a guy like Sheamus who's on a 90% record can defend his belt against somebody like Del Rio (47.7%) or Ziggler (33%).

The percentage record shows how you have to use weightings in these things. Like the Fifa or Uefa co-efficients you need to take into account strength of opponents. Ryback's 34 wins don't count for much when looking at the quality of his opponents. It's like Spain beating San Marino in a football match.

Agreed but those wrestlers with such records should be pursuing higher honours.

I feel like I'm following the wrong show here but more should be made of these records.

I'm not understanding why any of it matters. There's so many circumstances to so many matches that it's not that important.

                    I just find it interesting.

I know the WWE has always prided itself on entertainment and doesn't focus so much on rewarding the most 'successful' talent but at the same time I do believe the likes of Ziggler, Punk, Bryan and Del Rio need to be booked stronger to be taken more seriously.

It's difficult to create must-see matches when on paper the likes of Sheamus should easily account for most of his opponents.
