  • Hall Of Famer selling his Hall Of Fame ring...

Billy Graham is selling his WWE Hall of Fame ring on eBay because he's upset with Vince McMcMahon. "Vince McMahon made a remark at a recent Board meeting that there will never be an actual Hall of Fame building and that the Hall of Fame is something that only exists in his head," Graham told the UK Sun.

"Shane McMahon has been saying for several years that there will be an actual physical Hall of Fame building and now we know that there will not be one. Therefore, if the Hall of Fame is only a figment of Vince's imagination, I will depart with my ring."

I wanted there to be an actual building for the HOF

Fuck that, I really wanted there to be a Hall of Fame building. I don't blame Graham if they don't want to put forth the effort to honor the hall of famers.

Vince acting classes isn't a shock to me.

Props to surrender for the great banner.

Wow, that much money on bids so far?

And the letter thing by Vince kind of cracks me up

It's not like the Hall of Fame is worth a damn, so who cares. Still silly that he's selling it because of a comment. Course I never knew they got rings, I thought it was just a plaque.

I guess Vince figures it would be a waste of money on creating an actual HOF building. It would be something cool to see though.
It's a bit foolish for Billy to sell his ring because of what Vince remarked. Hell, Vince has made lots of remarks of things that
people may not like. Grow up Billy.

But that's the thing. It would be worth something if they created an actual building for it.

Here we go again -- the up and down relationship between Vince and Billy. The HOF means nothing, absolutely nothing. There's no voting system, it's not organized (for instance in the NFL when a guy retires he has to wait so many years before he's eligible). The only thing similar is that the other sports have politics apart of their decision, just like in the WWE. The only difference is that the other sports have a number of guys that vote despite the politics whereas Vince makes the final call.

I don't really see what Graham's problem is? It's always been Vince's decision, therefore in his imagination who goes in and who doesn't. I don't see why having a HOF Hall will change that.

Who knows, maybe he just needs the money and is using this as an excuse.

It wouldn't shock me if he needs money, especially now that WWE doesn't pay him.

If your a huge professional company then you should have a Hall of Fame Building documenting the history of the building and basically the people in the hall of fame. It seems silly that you wouldn't want your company to seem more professional by not having one.

I was gonna say I feel sorry for Graham, but in the listing he says,

"Further more, I have never been sentimental about The WWE or anything connected with Profestional wrestling in general."
