  • UFC Fight Night: Vendrell is back!(and so is Vitor)

I thought Vendrell and Vitor were retired, but I was wrong! Anybody watching this? Card actually looks halfway decent for a FS1 Fight Night. Is it wrong of me that I've lost a bit of interest in the UFC without Conor or Ronda?

Thanks for the shout out. And yeah I'm on board for this. I hope Kelvin gets the KO win BUT if he engages Vitor in a brawl fest he could certainly get caught. Vitor is still dangerous as hell even if he is on the down hill slope of his career. Also Vitor has a pretty awesome eye brow slit.

And I do miss me some McGregor but I am getting GSP back so I can deal.

Looks like Kelvin wants to make a run at 185 gold.

Fell asleep early and missed the main fights. Glad to see Shogun is back on track, this is his 3rd win in a row and I heard it was a great fight.

Wow, Shogun turning back the clock. I can't believe I missed that. Pride lives!

All in all it was a pretty good night of fights. Barboza looked impressive and strings together his third win in a row, hoping the guy finally reach his full potential.

Shogun took some shots that landed him in trouble but his opponent really let him off the hook and just started pressing him against the fence instead of going all out. Who knows what would have happened if he had just kept pouring it on Shogun.

Kelvin looked good. I thought the stoppage seemed a bit premature but with that said I can't be to harsh on the ref, this was the second time Vitor got dropped in the round but Vitor wasn't out and really just got caught with two punches on the ground before the ref dove in. It just looked like to me that he didn't have enough time to even get a chance to defend himself. Then again he was laying on the ground after the fight for a bit so perhaps it wasn't premature at all.

I didn't think ShoGun had 1 last big run in him. I'm glad to be proven wrong.

Props to surrender for the great banner.
