Wasn't really interested in this one outside of Poirier and Anderson. Kind of a weird main event to make with Holly coming off of back to back losses, looking pretty lackluster in her last one. I don't really know who Randame is, I've probably seen her fight before but just don't remember anything about her. Needless to say this is a pretty dull way to debut a new title created out of thin air for a weight class that doesn't really even exist yet. Definitely think Anderson should be the main event, but eh. I was going to go out with my brother to watch this anyways since we ain't got shit else going on this weekend. I fucked up and did a hard leg workout last night(got to love those Friday night empty gym workouts), I changed my mind and decided to stay home tonight, just completely worn out from work/gym last week. Really not in the mood to try to drive home at midnight tonight. I am streaming this though, pretty good scrap here with Dustin Poirier vs Miller.

Whatever happened to the WWE commentator they hired? I'm sorry but John Anik sucks so bad.

I was a pretty big critic of Mike Goldberg but man, I miss him already. This trio they got going tonight just ain't jiving with me for some reason. Feels like something is missing.

New group, give it time. But really dislike the 3-man booth in MMA. Too short of a timespan from match to match for analysis from two different color commentators.

Man, Michelle Waterson is unbelievable gorgeous. What a woman.

UFC 209 looking like it's going to be a good one.

I just noticed that winning a $5 bet on a draw in the Silva/Brunson fight would net you almost $400. Not quite as good but similar odds on the other remaining fights as well. In my mind this is a huge misstep on the part of these betting sites given the new ABC rules regarding 10-8 rounds. These are the kind of odds you would get on a draw a couple months ago when a draw was about as common as a safety in football. But with the new 10-8 rules it's not even that crazy a wolrd to imagine a scenario where Brunson gets a takedown ala Sonnen/Silva and controls Anderson on the ground for a 10-8 round before getting out pointed on his feet for the next two rounds which would now be a draw. Unlikely? Maybe, but definitely not +6500 unlikely.
