    Re: Emmett Till woman

Absolute joke. She ruined someone's life by causing them to get lynched, she abused the fact that she was a white woman who got someone completely opposite to her attacked and shamed all of these years, and she lied through her teeth.
    Currently Playing:
    Cosmic Star Heroine(PS4), Rocket League(PS4), Steins;Gate 0(PS4)

It's not like if she did tell the truth it would make Emmett Tills death any less sensible.

It's most shocking that she doesn't really remember what happened, it shows that it wasn't a really important moment in her life.
It's easy to demonize the individual, but what she did was a symptoms of the sickness of hate than infected so much of the South.

Yet her lies did help justify the death.

Zero sympathy for her especially since she can't remember the details of it meaning that she really doesn't think anything about it. With that said, I did actually find the article to be quite good.

Something that was pretty noticeable to me was that the woman didn't actually seem to feel any guilt towards her actions and most of her sorrow seemed to be related to the case's notierity impacting her own life. It was also noticeable that she didn't really even empathise with Till's mother until her own child was lost.

While I repeat, I have no sympathy for the woman, I do admit that the fact that she can at least acknowledge that she knows what she did was wrong is at least a positive. It shouldn't have taken that long to know but she also lived in a different time (and that she can also acknowledge that things changing since her times was for the better).
