I love you guys and thank you guys for being great sports. I apologize that you wasted time voting and wasted time arguing with me, but that's life. That safe bubble is now burst. Now welcome back to the REAL United States of America! God bless this country!
Congratulations on backing the winning horse. Serious question though, with how hard some of his policies are going to be to put forward, how are you going to feel if/when he fails to deliver on certain things?

A ton and a half of credit to Rad for this superb artwork

Thanks to Obamas racist moves while president by making FIRST RESPONDERS villains, by making criminals prophets, by helping and backing a lying criminal, this is what you get! This is what you get!!!! A rebellion. You get Donald Trump, the greatest underdog to ever live.

The person I'll be complaining about not running/winning the nom isn't either of them, it's VP Biden. He would've won going away, and could've beaten Clinton in the primaries unlike Bernie.

Trump is winning (won?) swings states with faux anti-establishment populism. Turns out the people like populist ideas. Sanders, with 40+ years of public record showing him to be the thing Trump is pretending to be, I think would have been Trump's kryptonite.

Biden, would obviously have done better than Clinton (wouldn't every other democrat?), but he'd still be seen as an insider, in an election begging for outsiders.

                      He's not going to fail.

Worst case scenario, I guess I'll feel like everyone on the left felt when nothing positive CHANGE(d) under Obamas 8 years.

A good bit of the policies and ideals he's promoted won't go through even with a Republican House and Senate...most of the members in Congress will balk from following suit on many and still be seen as electable for it when re-election comes. But there will be a solid percent of his ideas that will.

Now there's also something else to consider...

During primaries there was a slight shift in the tone from Trump from EXTREME right, to a slightly less extreme right (though still FAR right) in terms of policy talk (when it existed). Perhaps he shifts again in office knowing there will be some things that won't get through and he will likely be a 1-term president if he is too extreme so there's no reason to really campaign in office.

But then again, what the fuck do I know? This is the most bizarre election cycle ever.
