Nobody in Winnipeg understands Maurice's decisions. Laine on the second unit PP. Playing poor NHLers like Thorburn and Tanev, instead of young guys with skill like Petan and Dano. Vast majority want Maurice fired.

Jets did the same thing last year. Eliminated from the playoffs, won 5 in a row. Like what the hell?

Anyways, congrats to all of the teams who made the playoffs!

I think if Matthews played with more seasoned wingers he'd have more assists. He sets up his wingers plenty but they don't finish as much as they could be. If the Leafs continue to improve Matthews' line is going to be goddamn terrifying.

That being said though, Matthews is still a goal scorer first and foremost. I think he'll have more goals than assists most years he plays. He's not a Gretzky or a Crosby that can do it all, at least not yet. Time will tell though.

RT, it's too bad about Laine's concussion. Our bet would've gone down to the wire!

Laine - Goals per game 0.493
Matthews - Goals per game .487

As much as I love the Leafs, I am not holding my breath. I have long accepted that the Leafs will not win the Stanley Cup during my lifetime.

Oh boy, three straight games of overtime. This series is nuts. It is nothing like what I was expecting.
