Or it could be the series that people have valid criticisms of.

It's not just fans. There have been no less than two industry articles this week criticizing the way DC is doing things. It's not that anyone wants Marvel. It's that DC wants Marvel Money without doing the due diligence of World building. Combine that with the the darkening of everything will lead to this to falling apart. Fans don't mean shit, it's the general movie going public that matters. And I'm skeptical of DC getting them on board the way Marvel has.

In short you don't get to start with Guardians of the Galaxy. Does anyone really think if Marvel had started there it would have been as successful? Everything Detfink says makes complete sense to me. I've been saying all along I want these things to be different. I'm not nitpicking, I adore the DC universe and want to see it succeed. This just isn't the way to do it.

And finally one more time Croc looks fucking stupid.

    Well... don'tcha?

You chopped off the part of my post that would have answered your question. This is David Ayers' style. So if you liked Street Kings, Sabotage, Fury and he also wrote Training Day and the original Fast & the Furious....then you're going to love this, "I don't give a shit about your precious cartoons, figures, and comic books this is how I see it.." attitude.

I respect that in some ways. But without all that stuff "he" doesn't give a shit about. He wouldn't be doing this. So while I don't want Superfriends, some respect for the source material would be nice. And don't twist it respect doesn't mean "he" doesn't get to tell the story he wants. And still do a deadpoolesqe gunporn comedy...

Oh nothing... in fact the only time I feel bad about stuff you say is when I agree with it. Luckily, that rarely happens.

                          Oh zinger.

Did that come from the "Darkness"?

Or the quippy, puny Whedon side?

It comes from being right most of the time. It's a burden.
