Default Oldest Trick in the Book

So I was watching season 2 of OITNB and apparently the bag of dog poop is the oldest trick in the book. My whole life I had assumed pointing at someone's chest and then flipping them in the nose when they look down was in fact the oldest trick. PW, what is the oldest trick in the book?

Hey, look at that thing over there.

And of course this one came well after the book was written.

Might get more reaction if anyone knew what OITNB is.

The oldest trick in the book is to smash them in the back of the head with a rock when they're not paying attention.

Isnt that a webseries? If its not on TV, it isn't "popular". Paris Hiltons sex vid is more watched online than that noname show.

Merle's crusty obnoxious old man gimmick is actually the oldest trick in the book.

2 I bet the majority of the public has never see OITNB. Its a cult show. Who cares outside of the very small but dedicated fans?

A majority of the public has never seen literally every show on television (as in singularly). It's okay though, moving on.

Credit where its due for keeping up with the game even though its a worse kept secret then just about anything. HR hit the nail on the head.

A ton and a half of credit to Rad for this superb artwork

Not sure if you're being serious but I'll post anyway.

OITNB is hugely successful despite being only on Netflix. Most shows I watch are mostly on Netflix. I bet the majority of this forum know what it is. Perhaps not abbreviated but certainly they will know the name.

Netflix is slowly becoming more popular than cable/satellite TV, for good reason. Watch when you want, what you want, and don't have to pay an arm and a leg for it.

And don't they drop whole seasons at once, so none of that week to week waiting bullshit?

If anyone's wondering who it was at Blockbuster who decided not to buy Netflix when it was only worth ten million dollars?

    It's TJ Wyoming.

TJ Wyoming was the guy's name.

Anyway, I think the oldest trick in the book is stabbing a guy in the back when he isn't looking and then taking all his food.

I think some of the shows they go week to week, like it would be on TV, and some the upload by the season. If it's a show that is on a network but the episodes are available on Netflix, like Shameless or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, then they don't upload the season until either next season starts it they get the ok from the network to upload it sooner.

Ah okay, seemed like every show I was interested in always did the full so I assumed it was standard.

Because it's popped in to my mind, and it's based around this, one if the best Kids in the Hall sketches.

I've got one for oldest trick in the book. When you need to get a friend back for a prank here is what you do. Get a picture of your friend when he has morning hair or is basically disheveled. Superimpose picture of said friend on one of those "convicted sex offender warnings" you get when a convicted child molester moves into your neighborhood. Make a few hundred copies and pass them out all over his neighborhood.

Just think of the laughs when the neighbors form a lynch mob and start throwing bricks through his windows!

It will make him think twice the next time he decides to put a whoopee cushion on your chair when you go to sit down.

Well sort of. Its rare that you get one of those in the mail. I live in Louisiana that has draconian laws about everything. Thats mostly because of the lawmakers from the northern part of the state as opposed to the New Orleans area where I live. Anyway, the list of sex offenses that require you to register as a sex offender is a lot longer in Louisiana than everywhere else. If you are caught prostituting or soliciting a prostitute, you can be required to register as an offender just like child molesters. Its one of those things when a state is given leeway by the federal courts on extraordinary requirements outside the usual prison terms and they take it too far. Most of the people I know, aren't interested in someone that was trying to buy sex from another adult. I'm interested in dangers to my child. Its a waste of time and I don't go to the website that list the sex offenders by neighborhood because I have to sift through pages of "John's" before I get to the actual dangerous people.

Everyone raves about Netflix, but it still has to prove it can stand on its own revenue rather than its share price. Typical tech stock issues.
