    Shit.

Was on a camping trip with my students so couldn't get picks in.

RT is it ok if I pick now and take Sens in 7 and as the Ducks lost game one take the Ducks in 7 as well?

    Yep! No problem.

If anyone else missed getting their picks in you can do so as long as they're in by tonight. This round started pretty quickly.

Nashville's musical director must be a wrestling fan. Themes for the Ultimate Warrior, Finn Balor, Kurt Angle and Hacksaw Jim Duggan's Hoh!!! were played in just over a period alone.

Eeesh osh oosh! Ottawa is up 4-0 with 7 minutes left in the 1st period. It's hard to say this early in the game, but I think this is over. I haven't seen anything this one-sided since the championship bout between scissors and paper.

I heard Becky Lynch's theme played as well.

Fleury, man. Picked the perfect time to return to his normal playoff form.

I just think the Penguins have ran out of gas,. Schultz and Letang are big hits which don't help matters when you've played close to 200 games the last two years.

Ottawa hasnt even shown up in this game, under-prepared and unmotivated, 4-0 right now, I hope Pittsburgh scores 20, they deserve to be absolutely embarassed with that effort

What the fuck is Boucher thinking with pulling Andersen to try and steal a timeout? You're getting thumped on your goalie's birthday and you pull that sneaky shit, only to put him back in to allow another goal. Just pull the guy and try to get out of the period only 3 down.

So stupid. I feel for Andersen after that one.

Just an absolutely pathetic shameful performance from Ottawa, worst of the entire playoffs by any team that I have seen so far.

If any goalie left in the playoffs can bounce back from that, it's Anderson. I wouldn't count the Sens out just yet. The next game will be very interesting.

The winning percentage for a team being blown out by 7 in the playoffs is excellent for the following the game. Ottawa will throw everything they have at the Pens, and the desperation will be strong. The 1-3-1 trap was working, but Pittsburgh has figured it out in the last few games. I'm happy about it because it's such a boring and unwatchable form of hockey. As I've said many times in the past, Pittsburgh plays differently under Murray. With the Caps and early games with the Sens, the Pens looked gassed. Now they've inserted fresh bodies and they have put much needed energy back to the team. It's just another year of people underestimating the resilency of the team and just them overall.

Also, the DOPS is a joke for not even looking at Ryan and Wingels' elbow shots.

Good for Nashville, and good for PK. I'm glad Subban went to a place where he could go to a Final.

    ^ this fuckin guy.

Sens win. Amazing. I wonder if they'll sell out any of their SCF games.

I'm going to be honest, for a non-follower. I don't see any team beating Nashville in the Stanley Cup. I have picked against them a lot, but that's because I just couldn't see a team from Nashville, Tennessee winning a hockey championship. It just felt weird. It still does sound weird.

Also, I think Pitt wins Game 7 and I think it's going to be a great game. A must watch, even for non followers of hockey.
