While I dislike the Leafs I have to give them a ton of credit, they are not giving Washington an inch in this series.

Going to buy my Guentzel jersey after this series. Shero's college draft picks are working out. Sid and the Kids!!

I wouldn't mind a sweep, and let them rest for the next series. I know they could use it.

The Habs and Oilers both took series leads tonight. And both the Wild, and Blue Jackets have their backs to the wall, being down 3-0 in their series.

I'm still not recovered from Saturday night and it's time for Game 3.

Steve Dangle posted on Twitter on Saturday something like (paraphrasing): "How do fans of consistent playoff teams do this and not die at age 25?" So true.

I leapt from my seat and did screaming lap around my basement when Kapanen scored, then fell down and could have gone to sleep right there, and it was like 930 where I am. It's so mentally draining watching this stuff. Can't wait for more! WEEEEEEE!!

This is NOT the series that I was expecting. Three games, three OTs. This is the best series of the first round, by far. GO LEAFS!!!

Yeah, it's not the series I expected. However if you look at it with more detail, this makes sense as to why it is happening. I mean this in the most respectful way, but the Maple Leafs are Penguins lite. This is in terms of play style of speed and how the lineup is set. It's interesting to see how they've emulated them so quickly and looking great while doing it. Exposing Washington in the same exact way. That and I think the playoffs are so deep in the Caps head at this point.

I'm hoping for a Pens/Leafs matchup at this point, and I think the Leafs could win that.

As a Leaf fan, I can't ask for anything more. The turnaround season, making the playoffs, winning two playoff games ... anything is just gravy at this point.

I love Ovie and want to see him win the cup. If it weren't for the Leafs, I would be cheering them all the way.

The Flames just choked away any chance of getting back into the series. They had a 4-1 lead, and lost in OT, 5-4.

Rick The Dick and Bobby Ryan are stepping up in their respective series.

Leafs lost a tough one tonight. Just awful at the blue line leading to the Caps 5th goal though.

Oilers win in OT, and are up 3-2 on the Sharks!

Nice bounce back win, after that bad 7-0 loss on Tuesday.

Chicago is out. The #1 team in the Western Conference has been swept. This is why the NHL playoffs are among the best: once a team gets in anything can happen as a certain team in Los Angeles could attest to.

RT, Punk'd. Hoping to see you in round two.

Chicago being swept makes me happy. I've loved Nashville the last few years, and hoping good things happen for them.

After years of being favorites to do it, I think the year they are underdogs, the Rangers are going to make and win the Stanley Cup. A huge game 5 win on the road to take the 3-2 series lead and bring that to the Garden. It's over for Montreal. Now the real question will be if they are Canadian killers. If Ottawa wins tonight, they advance to the next round. Ottawa looks like a real candidate to win the East, because of the vulnerability of Washington. If I'm not biased, the Eastern Conference Finals is going to be Ottawa and Pittsburgh. However, I'm going to believe in The King and believe in New York.

That's a tough loss to take. I don't want to be the typical Leafs fan and be like "it's over," but it's pretty much over at this point.

Hope they force game 7 and pull one out though. Playoffs! Weeeee!

From here on out I'm just happy Chicago got swept.

I'll say this. The Leafs have either won, or lost by one goal in all five games so far, with four of them in OT. They've been a scrappy bunch this series.
