One thing that I loved there is that Sami kept talking whenever Steph tried to interrupt him and castrate him. Not sure if it was scripted that way, but he damn sure no sold her and her stupid snide comments.

That's exactly where I'm at right now. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I doubt this is going to really go anywhere.

That could have been a great segment for Sami, but it was just Steph ignoring everything he said.

    Big thanks to Surrender!

I cringe every time someone does. Paul Heyman is bad about it. I work as a sound guy, so I can only imagine he/she is diving towards the console to mute the channel as it's coming down. I know I would be.

Man, I dont know how much longer I can take the whole Authority angle. It never bugged me too much until the past 6 months but now it's getting on my nerves like nothing else.
I guess I looked past a lot just because Steph was decent at her character. But I cant look past it anymore. It's almost enough to make me not watch.

My problem is that there's no coherent angle. It's just Steph being shitty to people who are never going to get theirs back. There's no room for people to build their own moments because Steph just towers over them.

If there were any sort of coherent angle here with some sort of payoff, it'd be fine, but I haven't seen any indication that's coming anytime in the next decade.

They need to do a demographic survey in multiple cities and see if the fans actually want her gone. There's a huge difference between not liking someone because they are a heel and hating them because they kill the show. Either she needs to go away for a while or needs to flip her character. I can take face Steph. I can't take the mocking and immasculating of the entire roster for kicks. It's boring and just hurts the show.

True. Someone angling towards that big moment would at least make it have purpose. Having her Be a bitch for years 'just caise' really is the bigger issue with the show.

I think that they think Rollins beating Triple H is that moment, but I think they'll be sorely disappointed because the next night they'll come out on Raw and nothing will have changed.

It's similar to what's going on with Smackdown and Daniel/Miz. You really wanna see the pay-off, but you never will and it's frustrating.

Nobody will have the moment where they get one over on Stephanie. Daniel Bryan was pretty much the closest to having it. They tried to force it with Roman but it was flat because he actually speared her and it was just awkward.

The one thing I will say about Bryan/Miz is that while it sucks that you'll never get the physical payoff, I think it works better that Miz runs his mouth and runs down Bryan, but Bryan has the ability to say "oh yeah? you're wrestling John Cena." There's some measure of comeuppance for the heel's actions, even if it's not the best measure.
