I'd put Joe at #1. Colt Cabana not being in the top 25 is a bit odd. I know he was never THE guy there but I'd say Colt Cabana should be on the top 25.

Joe was THE guy when I was really into ROH but I can see why Danielson won. He stuck around longer and was the bigger 'name' afterward. I know that shouldn't matter but it probably does. I mean CM Punk at #3 is a stretch, for example. His ROH career was actually pretty short compared to a ton of the people below him.

I kept waiting for Cabana, Shelley & Young Bucks to pop up when I was going through the Top 25. Turns out all three just missed.

Was KENTA ever a regular? I thought he only showed up occasionally as a special attraction? If I'm right it seems weird that he'd make the Top 25.

I feel like Jimmy Rave should be higher. He's super underrated, maybe one of my favorite heels ever.

I thought you were supposed to be my enemy? That's not enemy talk. Jimmy Rave ruled. The Embassy is my favorite thing ROH ever did.

Forgot to mention my boys Dunn & Marcos at #122.

I knew about this project ahead of time but didn't even think about participating because there are huge gaps in my ROH viewing. BUT had I participated Teddy Hart, Ring Crew Express, Nana & Matt Hardy would have rounded out my ballot.

Now I feel like doing something like this here at PW. ECW, maybe? @ShinobiMusashi @Kilgore

Behold! The Crown Jewel of the Embassy!

April 25th is the 25th Anniversary of Commissioner Tod "is God" Gordon founding ECW. Not that we need a reason. I'm in. What do I have to do?

It's difficult to go past Danielson, he embodies the virtues of ROH and will go down as one of the greatest of all-time.

The only argument I could see for Joe is that the fans bought into him more.

Lowki is criminally low. He put RoH on the map during its first year.

This was my initial reaction as well. Feels like Ki should be Top 10. Much like Punk he didn't have the longest ROH career but he made a hell of an impact while he was there. One thing I learned while skimming through this is ROH has a hell of a deep history. Look no further than Cabana, Shelley & The Bucks not even making the Top 25.

I definitely think it was the longevity thing that saw him placed at 11. It doesn't justify it for me, but it does explain it. Dude was literally RoH's Hulk Hogan, though. His body of work over that first year of RoH's existence is definitely something to crow about; he was giving fans one classic after the next. His match with Joe at Glory By Honor set all kinds of standards. Oh well, I guess he and his supposed awful attitude are to blame.

    Still criminal, though.

I'd be interested in their justifications, but on initial impressions I find it odd that Low Ki isn't in the Top 10 and Paul London isn't in the Top 25.

London was the first ROH guy to 'make it' or so to speak.

On the other hand, is anyone willing to bat for Roderick Strong? The only argument I can see for Roddy is his overall body of work, as a personality he didn't offer a lot and I feel he embodied every negative aspect of the promotion.

Longevity and lots of championships. Though he definitely doesn't feel like a Top 10 guy to me either.

Yeah, London is another guy who seems low at #32.

Danielson at #1 is absolutely correct. Not convinced Punk should be that high (top 10 maybe, but not #3). Joe, Aries and McGuinness certainly should be.

Why is Jay Briscoe so much higher than Mark? I view them as one entity. Are there some singles runs I don't know about?

I love KENTA more than anyone but don't understand his high placement. He had a couple of decent stints in ROH but in the grand scheme of things he wasn't there for very long. I don't think of him as an ROH guy. That said, his consistency was pretty high. Great matches with Danielson, Low Ki and Aries. I think there was a triple threat or four way with Danielson and Joe and perhaps someone else. All great matches. I know he wrestled Davey Richards at some point but I've not seen that match. At the very least Morishima should be higher than KENTA because he won the world title and had one of the greatest feuds in the company's history with Danielson.

Jay Briscoe is a two time ROH champion, had a memorable feud with Samoa Joe back in the day, debuted earlier, and has always been pushed as the 'better' of the two Briscoes. He should absolutely be a few spots above Mark.

Thanks for the KENTA info. That's about what I thought.

    *before reading list*

"Danielson, Joe & Punk better be the top 3."

    *reads list*

"...holy shit I never get these right."

Not much to argue with on this list. Top 3 is correct, Christopher Daniels, Aries, Roddy & McGuinness all made the top 10 (as they should), Jay Lethal and Low Ki are right where they should be, Briscoes get the recognition they deserve.

Yeah...I really can't find anything wrong with this.

To be honest, I'm shocked to even see Teddy Hart on the list. I would have figured with how pissed people were at him he wouldn't have made a list. Then again, time heels all wounds.

The project is a cool idea to do. It's hard to believe ROH has been around for fifteen years now. The length at which people had to defend the company years ago compared to now is crazy to think about. Like TNA, most thought the company wouldn't be around this long. The list is a good one too. Placing for the top 30 isn't that hard to. There may be a few I would change around. I would put Davey Richards and KENTA down a few along with bumping up Jimmy Jacobs and Takeshi Morishima.

I'll have to take a look at the full list, and report back.

Lol. Just in case you are unfamiliar. ROH is the place to see guys who have just about mastered the in-ring aspect of this industry. However, many of these guys are considered by many to be bland or lacking in the charisma department. Those that do have charisma go on to headline Wrestlemanias in the years after ROH. In other words, there are about a 1,000 4 star matches and 500 5 star matches to choose from. Roh is the best developmental company in the history of wrestling, which is good except they don't consider themselves a developmental company.

AJ Styles at 12 though. I know he's had a few stints in ROH, but surely he can't be that high. He's more a TNA guy who dabbled in ROH.
