I'm not sure I like anything on Dazz's card outside of Perfect vs Owen , and that's fine because I'm obviously not going to be the guy to vote for many of those wrestlers. I'm not sure about the Williams vs Styles match - it could be good but as a main event it didn't SELL me.

I think HawkGuys card is really solid from top to bottom , Balor vs Hardy would be a ton of fun and a whole lot more body paint. The four way would be fun as well and he has mah boi Carlito winning a match.

    HawkGuy it is!

Not really feeling any of these, the Sting/Shawn main event ended up being the deciding factor.

HawkGuy has two genuinely good matches in Sting/Shawn and Hardy/Balor, half of a good match in the Hardcore fatal four-way, and a match that could be fun in the TLC. Which leaves two matches of eeeeeeehhhh.

Dazz's card is much more interesting to me from top to bottom. Williams would work great as a monster heel or face and AJ would bump like a maniac, Hart/Perfect would be fantastic, the women's match and the six man tag both sound great, and the other three matches would be fun. Dazz wins in a landslide.

HawkGuy has a very good card but there are a couple of matches that don't appeal very much. On the other hand, Dazz's card is amazing from top to bottom. AJ Styles + Dr. Death + LIJ + some of the best ever female wrestlers = It's likely I'll be voting for Dazz every round.

Yeah Hawkguy's card is incredibly solid and I would very happily pay to see it. Dazz's card is phenomenal thought and I would love to see it. It gave me matches I didn't even know I wanted to see but now I really want to see.

I like to try to reside as much as possible in the "vote for which show you'd buy a ticket to if they're happening the same night" mindset. Based on that mindset alone, HawkGuy gets my vote for Shawn/Sting. But why the fuck is Marty in Shawn's corner? That seriously almost ruins it for me. Jeff Hardy/Finn Balor is a little intriguing too. Regarding both cards, I've gotta say... I hate seeing so many 4-ways. It just seems like lazy booking indicative of not having a good initial plan nor good fallback plans when drafting. But maybe that's just me and my 4-way-hating self.

*checks card to make sure I didn't have any four ways*

I think sometimes fatal fourways are a necessary evil , but not always in the first round where arguably your card should be it's most cohesive and sometimes if you do it by round three or something you can accompany it with a story from throughout all of your cards. I've done it in the past as the rounds went a long as a way to get some guys onto a card and not have 13 matches.

I'm not sure if having the mystery opponent of the first round caused some guys to hold back.

Very good and fair point about 4-ways being more acceptable in later rounds. If it doesn't come across as totally random shoehorning, I'm OK with it in those situations.

I also don't understand why knowing our opponents matters for how we put together our cards. Shouldn't we all just be trying to put together our best, most intriguing cards, period?

I don't know some people tend to hold back in the first round and saving their big money matches for later on down the line. Knowing who you can steal from your potential opponents roster for cards down the line could change the way to actually play the game.

For example , if I were facing you and I had Austin and Goldberg on my roster and I knew you had Hogan and Undertaker who I could potentially steal from you if I win , I'm probably going to go all out in the first round knowing that my next set of main events are coming directly from you're card so I don't have to worry about potentially saving a main event. On the other hand , if you only have guys who I might consider undercarders for "dream matches" or something , I might try and hold off from Austin/Goldberg knowing that I'm going to need even a bigger blockbuster main event in the second round. If that makes any sense - and for the record I've done it both ways in the past to different degrees of success and failures.

So not knowing who your opponent is can change a few things , and I for one am not happy with who I drew in the first round because I have like no one I want to steal if I am lucky enough to win.

Sting/Michaels and Hardy/Balor would be pretty awesome, I'm also digging Aries/Kazarian from HawkGuy's card as well. As for Dazz, it's all about the four-way women's match, Perfect/Hart, and Ibushi/Pentagon Jr. as far as each cards top three matches that I would be interested in seeing.

Tough choice, but I think I gotta give it to Dazz, as he has the added advantage of the six man tag team match, well nothing else on HG's card really interests me.

Good card from Hawkguy but I feel like Dazz has more depth further down the card, AJ Styles vs Steve Williams is an intriguing matchup, plus Pentagon and Suzuki, impressive.

I'm with you. Four-ways typically aren't great. Aja/Toyota vs. Sasha/Becky as a tag would be a better match than a four-way I'm sure and then you can branch them off into all the singles combinations following that tag.

Also agreed that Marty being in Shawn's corner for the Sting match is a bit odd. Where is Sting's backup? I'm sure I'd just be waiting the whole match for Marty to turn on HBK.

I too thought the Marty thing was a little weird , but I assume HawkGuy had his card laid out and needed a spot to put him. Personally speaking I can commend that because I think one of the biggest no-no's in the first round is not using your entire roster. At least he put him somewhere. Having said that , perhaps splitting up the triple threat and putting Marty in one of those matches could of worked , I think Marty could have a solid match with any of the three.

    Neither card really wows me.

Hawk Guy has a solid main event and I was really excited about the TLC match until I remembered Big E isn't on the New Day team. Still should be a fun actionfest.

Dazz has the unique main event of AJ/Doc. I doubt anybody else in the world ever fantasy booked that one But I like it. Think they'd have a good match. Owen/Perfect is a match right up my alley and that's enough to put Dazz over the top.

To me this is easily Hawkguy.

Shawn Michaels vs Sting alone is the winner. The undercard provides matchups that intrigue me as well.

As for Dazz, a slight switch to Owen Hart vs Styles and Perfect vs Williams could have swayed me. Damn though Owen vs Styles...FUCK!
