Sorry for the delay, I've been so busy and Breath of the Wild has taken up so much of my time that I let VGM fall by the wayside.

We're nearly one week into the Switch's life-cycle and so far it seems like the big positive is Breath of the Wild. Since we've got a whole thread dedicated to Zelda, I thought I'd pay more attention to a delightful little title called Snipperclips. If you guys haven't seen it, Snipperclips is a co-op puzzle game where you've got to rotate and assemble two little sheets of paper so they can fit into a certain shape. Not only is it a refreshing idea, but the aesthetic and sound of the game is just so cheery that you get lost in it. While it's difficult to recommend buying a Switch for a game like Snipperclips, if you do pick one up I feel you've got to get this. It's similar to Pullblox in that it's a quality puzzle game oozing with charm.

Unfortunately I can't say the same about Super Bomberman R. Man, I was looking forward to another Bomberman game, but it's just a middle of the road entry. If it was a Nindie title, it would have been fine but as it's own title it's one of the worst titles to come out this year. When an entry that came out 20 years ago surpasses your multi-player, you know there's something wrong.

I might pick up Mario Sports Superstars for the 3DS, but honestly, nothing really interests me this month.

The only game that I will buy this month is one you forgot to add to the list. Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 Remix!!!! For the last week I have been listening to the OST for the series to get myself hyped for the games. I sold my PS2 a few years ago along with my original copies sadly. That's one regret that I will always have.

Turok 2 on March 16, I am all over that. I might look into the PC port of Zero Escape on the 24th, depends on the price.

I hope PS4 owners jump over Danganronpa if they can't get it on PC or PS Vita, I would totally buy it I didn't have fun with it on the PS Vita.

I got Wildlands, but mainly focused on Horizon, not sure how dedicated I'll be to GR, Andromeda is the main one I'm waiting for, GR is just filler.

I second Blindy. If you like great storylines you need to get the Nonary Games(Zero Escape) and Danganronpa collections for PS4.

Zero escape trilogy is a mixture of point and click gameplay, telltale style decision making and storyline. The puzzles are great so if you like puzzle games you will love it. If you hate puzzles then it may not be for you.

Danganronpa is a bit more lacking in the gameplay side. It's basically an interactive explorational novel. There are relationships to grow through answering questions and giving gifts and stuff, so there is still gameplay there along with exploring the school

Zelda (which is amazing and totally justifies getting the Switch early IMO) and Mass Effect. Then Persona 5!!!!

What a wonderful time for video games, Horizon is at the top of my backlog after that. Nier just isn't my cup of tea.

I'm not hyped for Andromeda, more just, hopeful. I thought part 1 was a solid start with some issues, 2 was amazing, and 3 lost me halfway through (I've never even finished it, and it is RARE I don't finish a game that isn't hopelessly broken). So, I'm looking forward to it, just to see if it can hold me better than the 3rd

So, I think I jumped the gun a bit on my not my cup of tea declaration. I saw robots and anime infused sci-fi, and was all "meh". Yet, after listening to the bombcast and beastcast, and watching the quick look, I think Nier may be above Horizon on my backlog after I beat Zelda, Mass Effect, and Persona, looks stylish and fun as hell.

Judging from the reviews, Andromeda still has plenty to offer, but it's at odds with mediocre writing and some puzzling design choices.

It sounds like the type of game that's worth exploring once it hits bargain bins, but not a second beforehand.

Especially not with Persona 5 on the horizon, we're only a couple of weeks away now.

If only I'd got round to Persona 4 yet...

To be honest, between Ff15, World of FF, Bravely Defaul and Star Ocean 2, I don't have time for another JRPG at the moment

Not to mention I'm on Danganronpa which is kind of an RPG

It's weird that next months list will more than likely feature 6 NES Games that aren't being given this bundle treatment on the Switch or Wii U.

I for one am hyped for that collection. Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck and Chip and Dale were great games.

Not really, I'm liking it a good bit so far.

The writing seems to be standard Bioware so far, some good moments, some not so good ones. I'm not too far in, but I'm happy that I got it. My impressions so far are if you go in expecting more Mass Effect with greatly improved combat and exploration, you're going to like it. Just don't go in expecting the story and characters to be as memorable as the original trilogy.

It also has it's share of technical difficulties, and while the character animations are wonky, the voice acting is strong enough to allow you to look past it after a bit.
