Sorry for the delay, I've been so busy and Breath of the Wild has taken up so much of my time that I let VGM fall by the wayside.
We're nearly one week into the Switch's life-cycle and so far it seems like the big positive is Breath of the Wild. Since we've got a whole thread dedicated to Zelda, I thought I'd pay more attention to a delightful little title called Snipperclips. If you guys haven't seen it, Snipperclips is a co-op puzzle game where you've got to rotate and assemble two little sheets of paper so they can fit into a certain shape. Not only is it a refreshing idea, but the aesthetic and sound of the game is just so cheery that you get lost in it. While it's difficult to recommend buying a Switch for a game like Snipperclips, if you do pick one up I feel you've got to get this. It's similar to Pullblox in that it's a quality puzzle game oozing with charm.
Unfortunately I can't say the same about Super Bomberman R. Man, I was looking forward to another Bomberman game, but it's just a middle of the road entry. If it was a Nindie title, it would have been fine but as it's own title it's one of the worst titles to come out this year. When an entry that came out 20 years ago surpasses your multi-player, you know there's something wrong.
