Not really sure where Jamal ends up tonight. I've seen mocks that ranged from 2-7. If I were San Fran, I'd take him 2. He's that good. He was the QB of LSU's defense for years and always made impactful plays. Jamal is a true game changer.
    I love Adams.

He has everything you could want in a football player and by most accounts his character is off the charts as well. It doesn't hurt I love me some safety play - I also like Hooker a lot.

Who are everyone's thoughts on the busts coming out of this draft?

I know @UT thinks it's Fournette, which is blasphemous, but who else do you guys think?

Blasphemous? Like a highly touted running back taking in the Top 10 has never busted? People are so drunk on Zeke it's a little silly.

    As for other busts:

Malik McDowell (x10 if a team is stupid enough to spend a 1st rounder on him)
    Marlon Humphrey
    Mitchell Trubisky
    Pat Maholmes
    Davis Webb

I don't like any of those guys. There are a few other guys too who I'm not sure will live up to 1st round status.

I think it'll be Joe Mixon.

Only if he can't keep clean off the field - as far as just players go I think Mixon is the best RB in the class and one of the top players overall. It also depends a lot on where he goes.

I've had an internal struggle on whether or not I'd be okay with the Packers drafting him. He is such a fun player to watch , but that video is something that doesn't go away.

Fournette may not be an absolute bust but I could easily see him being a disappointment or being injury prone and not fulfilling his potential. He's an absolute freak of nature however and I just can't fathom him being Trent Richardson 2.0. I'm obviously biased but that would tear my guts out.

As for busts, Solomon Thomas and Malik Hooker for me. I don't see it in Mahomes either. I'll give a slight bust nod to McCaffery in that he won't suck but I don't think he will live up to enormous hype surrounding him either. Can't see Corey Davis being a number one type WR either.

I don't think he will be Richardson bad either , but someone like Ronnie Brown wouldn't shock me either. In my defense I consider a RB in the top ten to be a bust if he isn't an absolute gamechanger AP or Leveon type back , you can't just have a solid career if you are a RB with that much invested.

I think Thomas is going to be good. I see so much Mike Daniels in that guy.

Rapsheet is reporting that Houston is in love with Watson.

Good on you Houston - that'd be the right call. I really want Houston to get a good quarterback just to see what they could become.

I wish Kiper was on NFL Network , I'd love watching him and Mayock together.

I have to flip back and forth to get my Kiper fix.

Interesting choices. Also, if Houston has a chance and passes up on Deshaun Watson, I will be so disappointed.

Same here. I don't think the Saints go there and I don't blame them. Based on pure measurable and skills alone, he's a first round talent no doubt. However, that incident is hard to forget.

So, for the Saints 11th pick, depending on who should still be there, I am ranking:
    1. Reuben Foster
    2. Haasan Riddick
    3. Marshon Lattemore
    4. Charles Harris
    5. Derek Barnett
    6. Mike Williams (fuck it, he's my top wide out)

Derek Barnett is my prediction though. I'd be mildly disappointed but okay with the pick. Has a great motor but not as much upside as other pass rushers. He'd be a perfectly acceptable pick but I want something more flashy.

Am I missing something on Lattimore? Like all draft season he's been a top five pick and today a handful of guys have him falling to 10 or 11.

I like Barnett - I believe he has pretty dang close numbers to Terrell Suggs when he came out and that would be a good get for any team. I think his lack of elite measurables a little blown out of proportion.

If you guys get Foster though that'd be a great start. No way in hell if he not a top 3 linebacker in the NFL in a few years if he keeps his nose clean.

I don't know how I feel about Chris Berman not being here for the 1st round.

Might flip channels even less. Eisen is great.

I love Kiper , like McShary but Gruden is a chore to listen to.

I don't get it with Lattimore either. He's been falling quite a bit lately. Maybe it's the recent rise of offensive talent like the QBs, McCoy, and OJ Howard that is pushing Lattimore down.

Goodell taking in those boos like Roman Reigns.

If this were a Commissioner draft , Goodell would go undrafted.

Playing it up to the Philly crowd is a nice tough though. He's still deplorable.

Yeah you're probably right , the quarterback surge is pushing some guys down.

Meaningless yet you are here talking about it.

And the NFL Draft was a phenomenom before Goodell was a thing. Don't give him credit for that.

It's like giving him credit for the Super Bowl getting great ratings.

The more taken, the better chance my Saints get at getting an elite defensive talent.

The more I think about it, the more I am okay with the Saints getting Barnett. He has gotten unfair criticisms because of the combine darlings.

I'm undoubtedly a homer, but Barnett has the best motor of any DE I've ever seen. He plays every play like he wants to murder someone. I think he'll be a great NFL player.
