Sadly I have come to accept the fact that is actually probably true.

I honestly think Cena would've been somewhat more tolerable if Vince wasn't the boss all these years. Maybe after Vince dies, we'll finally see Cena do something interesting.

I didn't suggest it had to include EVERY NXT star ever... just Triple H's 'chosen ones'. And if anything the fact that Rollins is identifiable as an NXT star makes it all the more interesting/sensical... he was already once a 'chosen one' by Hunter too.

So rumor was WWE wanted a match on WM that was akin to Okada vs Omega. I think HHH is aiming to do it directly. Setting up the knee on Rollins to be a weak point makes me think we will get a slower, more methodically planned match. It is the kind of match that smarks and the net loves with a strong story being told in the match.

It's the kind of thing I would expect from a Triple H match. It would certainly be better than the typical Seth Rollins big match.

There's no way it won't be No DQ...

I'd LOVE to read this rumor.

Rumor was around a week after that match. It was with the Kenny possibly debuting at the Rumble rumors though, so...

That was for the title - can't remember very many No DQ title matches at Mania since Rock vs. Austin... has to be an exceptional main event. I'll give you that in the case of Orton/Triple H at 25 that at any other PPV you would expect such a match to be No DQ, but Mania seems to set a different precedent for title matches.

Very few matches were more setup to fail than that one due to being a straight-up wrestling match. Hell, they went the other way and had a stip that Hunter would LOSE the title if he got DQed.

There actually could be some logic behind this, Rollins can't wrestle like a 21 year old Cruiserweight his entire life - he needs to slow down, or that knee injury will be just the beginning of a long lines of setbacks. Being more grounded would be a good thing.
