The Great Wall of Dallas vs. The Hogs. Such a tough call.

Defensively though, Doomsday dominates. I vote for the Cowboys.

    Still My Champ
    Thanks, surrender.

As much as it would possibly kill him inside , even @The Real LT would have to admit that the Cowboys are one of the most stacked teams in this entire tournament , they are just scary deep at so many positions and are going to be a tough out for anyone. The offensive line of Washington vs the defenslive line of Dallas would be the best matchup but the Cowboys offensive line is every bit as good and Washingtons defensive line is kind of the shits compared to so many in this tournament.

I like the Cowboys passing game more , but I don't even know that Staubach would have to drop back 20 times in this game - Emmitt Smith running at that defense all day long would be more than enough to control the game and scoreboard. Dallas 31 - Washington 10.

It's really not. The Hogs are better hands down. 3 championships with 3 different starting QB's and RB's says it all. They also got a rookie Timmy Smith a 200 yd game in the Super Bowl.

I disagree about the passing game as well. I think Washington's secondary is FAR superior to Dallas's. so Dallas will have a harder time throwing the ball, especially against Green and Fischer. Houston will blanket Witten and Taylor will annihilate anyone coming over the middle. Washington is also easily stronger at linebacker, the Dallas LB corps frankly dosen't scare anyone.

Despite this I still have Dallas winning due to enjoying THE most lopsided advantage in this match up with Newton, Allen, Stepnowski and Moose Johnston matched up against against the very soft interior of the Washington D-line. Emmitt Smith will have very little problem rushing inside for 5 or 6 yards a pop plus Newton, and Allen will probably get to the next level and get blocks on linebackers and safeties as well. This will allow Dallas to control the clock and limit the Redksins scoring opportunties.

By contrast the Skins are facing two of the toughest DT's ever in Randy White and Bob Lilly. Ware is no slouch against the run either, so running room for Dallas will be harder to come by, even with the Hogs leading the way. Dallas's ability to control the clock wins this one for them.
