Yeah well his name is Houston.

God damn you anyways - you find me another Houston/Tennessee safety then and Michael Griffin doesn't count.

I'm coming up blank for an Eagles punter so I just went with the guy from their last Super Bowl appearance.

Untouchable seemed comfortable with his choice of Frank Winters at center, so I went ahead and slid Jim Ringo over to the Eagles. And if that dosen't fly I can always have Chuck Bednarik bring back Iron Man football and play center as well.

Peyton of Unitas was a tough fucking call and I could understand it going either way , but I went with Peyton in the end because there are few quarterbacks in history who have the grasp of a passing game more than Peyton.
Great list, but I would have mercy on the Jets and let them keep Eubank.

No surprise the Steelers are ridiculously loaded on defense, and the running game, but their receiving corps holds up shockingly well. Ward and Brown are not a receiving duo to be taken lightly, and you could easily put Swann or Stallworth up there as well. At O-line they are HEAVILY overloaded at center. Mike Webster, Dermotti Dawson, Jeff Hartings, and Mike Pouncey...pretty much all back to back. They are really thin at Offensive tackle though, and guard as well once you get past Faneca.

Looks good brother , although I think Westbrook should be the running back. You can have Ringo as well

I know it's strange to go with a 3-4 for the Saints, but I have a hard time breaking up The Dome Patrol.

This one was actually incredibly hard in certain areas - I could understand going Lynch or Alexander at Running Back , I kept changing my mind. The secondary was really tough , leaving out Chacellor and Eugene Robinson at safety and Dave Brown at corner were all tough omissions.

Great job , but I really don't think the 3-4 works at all. Glover isn't a nose tackle and Joe Johnson as a 3-4 end would scare me.

Swilling allows you to cheat a bit though because he did play some end as well so I'd go -

    DE - Pat Swilling
    DT - Laroi Glover
    DT - Jim Wilks
    DE - Joe Johnson

    OLB - Rickey Jackson
    MLB - Sam Mills
    OLB - Vaughan Johnson

I went with Plummer over Palmer because of tenure there but it's easy enough to make a switch I suppose. Warner is already taken and the cupboard is pretty thing after him.

The Cardinals have holes everywhere , but one of the best corner combinations in the tournament. It will be interesting to see where they match up.

I definitely would have started Marshawn over Alexander. I always thought Alexander was a little overrated. His yards after contact was never great, and once Steve Hutchison left his numbers took a nose dive.

I would also go with Vai Sikahema as the Cardinals return man.

Ha! I forgot about Sikahema. I remember him being one of my favorite players for the sole reason his name sounded cool. My introduction to other football players came through trading cards and his was one of my favorites because there was no way a guy couldn't be a superstar with a name like that.

This might of been the easiest one I've done yet , the Dolphins have pretty straight forward options at damn near every position.

Olindo Mare may be the 3rd best kicker in Phin history...there is Garo Yepremian and Pete Stoyanovich before him. Yepremian was on the All NFL team for the 70's.

Offerdahl was a MLB, not OLB to my knowledge...AJ Duhe would fit at OLB

    Where's Bob Kuchenburg at Guard?

I moved Farrior over to the Jets because Pittsburgh damn sure don't need him.

That's funny we finished pretty much at the same time. We have a lot in common , but I'm giving Abraham to Atlanta I think - at the end of the day he actually played more seasons in Atlanta and they really need him if I remember correctly.

Nevermind. The Jets could probably use him a little bit more , Atlanta's defensive ends aren't horrible.

    Where's Bob Kuchenburg at Guard?
    I'll make some switches.

    Ah yes..Garo Yepremian

It's a shame this is what he's mainly remembered for because he really was a good kicker.

    K - John Kasay
I don't disagree with the pick, but Panthers fans' feeling on Kasay are....shall we say...complicated. Much like Browns about Earnest Byner.

I'm going to get started on the brackets - if @The Real LT or @CK would be so kind to go through the thread and help me out and remind me of any switches to be made I'd appreciate it greatly!

    The dynasties/powerhouses bracket
    Green Bay Packers
    Dallas Cowboys
    San Francisco 49ers
    Pittsburgh Steelers
    New England Patriots
    New York Giants
    Chicago Bears
    Washington Redskins

    The AFL orginals
    Kansas City Chiefs
    Buffalo Bills
    Houston Oilers
    Denver Broncos
    San Diego Chargers
    New York Jets
    Oakland Raiders
    Miami Dolphins

    The Young Guns
    Houston Texans
    Carolina Panthers
    Jacksonville Jaguars
    Baltimore Ravens
    Seattle Seahawks
    Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Atlanta Falcons
    New Orleans Saints

    The Leftovers
    Cleveland Browns
    Detroit Lions
    Minnesota Vikings
    Philadelphia Eagles
    Arizona Cardinals
    Indianapolis Colts
    Los Angeles Rams
    Cincinnati Bengals

I'm thinking that's what the four brackets are going to look like. I realize I have a few switches in there , as in the Patriots not being in the AFL bracket but I feel they were the most logical to switch to the dynasty category.

The Young Guns are the youngest franchises by day coming into the league and the leftovers are just teams without a home.
