I so wanted to put Steve Young on this roster seeing as how he's never going to make it over Joe but I didn't know if that would be cheating as no one ever thinks of him as a Buccaneer. What say you guys?

The Bears are so deep at linebacker that several great ones will likely be left off. Just at MLB alone you have to pick between Butkus, Singletary, and Urlacher.

Yeah I was trying to keep it with one per team , to make it a bit more difficult , to make the conversations better and to make the matchups better. I want to try and be fair to teams. If it's a coin flip I think giving it to the team that needs them more is going to be the way to go.

As in Reggie White , Philadelphia might end up needing him more so even though it could be argued both ways I just conceded him to Philly.

Personally speaking and I don't know if it'll end up happening but I think Bruschi might have to go in for Buonicotti , seeing as it's a coin flip situation and the Patriots have Bruschi sitting there and being more than capable.

Nelson far more accomplished than Bruschi as a pro. Nelson's number is retired.

I'd take Buoniconti off before Nelson, but I wouldn't take Nick off. He was a very important Patriot
It's what makes it fun , and understood about Nelson. I think Nick might end up being left off as he could be argued just as important to Miami. I had to leave off probably the greatest defensive linemen off the Packers so sacrificing can be a bitch for sure.

2 yrs of Young on TB? You may as well put Montana on KC...it doesn't make sense to me, but whatever.

Also, Warrick Dunn over James Wilder?

I said I was tempted and Montana is already going on the 49ers. I know it doesn't really make sense at all , but it was something to think about.

Also I can put Wilder on there , I don't think they are THAT far off aside from the sheer numbers of seasons played. No big deal to me either way.

They're not, but I think James Wilder as a Buc, before I think about Dunn...plus, I don't think about them ever really.

I don't either , and Wilder is someone who is easily forgettable. And I do like the dynamic of Dunn and Alstott together. Alstott could do more of the heavy lifting and Dunn could be dynamic out of the backfield , which this team needs as it might be the worst collection of offensive talent in this entire thing.

Vonta Leach is already on the Texans team , and I would argue they need him a little bit more because the dropoff to next best is crazy.

The Ravens could go with Leron McClain or a curveball and play Mike Anderson there.

Also Todd Heap is clearly the best Tight End in Ravens history.

Chiefs fans might want to proof read this but I think it's pretty solid. Their wide recievers are awful, but they are loaded on defense and their running game is pretty solid. They also have the best TE of all-time so that helps. I also thought about using Okoye at FB for the power rush, but I thought Tony Richardson could use some love for his immaculate blocking.

I was a bit shocked at the lack of big name players on the 49ers defense , I thought for sure they would be one of the most stacked overall teams in this thing but so many of their defensive studs were rentals and more in line with other teams. I thought about going both ways on defense , and maybe that's any option and moving forward. Also was kind of forced to slide Lott in as a cornerback as I didn't like that position either.

I was going to contest the Lewis at FB move but he was listed there in 2003.

Also Chiefs receivers - holy shit.

I know Brown and Motley being together might technically be cheating but it's the Browns so give them a break.

You really have to go into the way back machine to find some of the best Browns of all time.

I wanted to keep Staley on there so I took out Barton. Obviously I'm not an expert on tackles from before I was born , I only went on what I read. And Staley is versatile enough to swing around I think.

Thanks for the help. I'm still surprised that the 49ers didn't make for a more juggernaut of a team.

Torrie Holt belongs over Flipper Anderson. Even Elroy Hirsch or Henry Ellard belong over Anderson.

Yeah but he was pretty one dimensional overall , pretty much just a deep threat. He had a few very impressive seasons yardage wise considering the era but I don't even know if he's one of the five best Rams receivers of all time.

Peyton of Unitas was a tough fucking call and I could understand it going either way , but I went with Peyton in the end because there are few quarterbacks in history who have the grasp of a passing game more than Peyton.

I got Houston as a Redskin instead of an Oiler. He played for them longer and made more Pro Bowls with them. Plus he missed the "Luv Ya Blue" period of the Oilers which was so iconic.
