Reviews are starting to roll in for Zero Dawn, and are overwhelmingly positive, so score another hit for Sony.

Really happy for Guerrilla Games, they were stuck in that grind of only getting to make Killzone games but you kinda figured after all those years of making Killzone(Including making a PS4 launch title that bombed), that they just needed a chance to make something fresh and innovative and Horizon: Zero Dawn represents that.

Hope it sells well given Nintendo decided to have the biggest bomb of 2017 come days after in Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Love the way Hollow Knight turned out, so I'm getting this in three days.

Good looking, hadn't even heard of that one, definitely on my radar now, love that genre in general. Think it tends to offer the most fulfilling gameplay, just simple (well, stylistically), straight forward fun.

Not me, I got an NES, an SNES, an N64, Gamecube, and a Wii pretty quickly. But I felt the Wii stagnated quickly outside of the few dependable franchises, passed up the Wii U, and it looked to do the same thing, probably end up getting that once there's a significant price drop just for Mario Maker and a few others, but I won't be rushing to a Switch. Nintendo lost my good faith money, it's just Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, and once upon a Wii Metroid, and then a sea of emptiness that you have to scavenge to find the rare gems.

Looks like the Shovel Knight-esque retro platformer is becoming all the rage. You got that, Cuphead, and now this Hover Knight. I like it.

Today I was browsing the PS2 section in my local video game shop and something caught my eye. The Legend of Spyro (with some subtitle). I did some digging and found out that it's a trilogy of Spyro games for the PS2. Anyone played them? Are they worth getting?

The Legend of Spyro is one of my all time favorite platformers. I'm hoping it will receive the Crash Bandicoot treatment for the PS4 soon enough.

My style of gaming in the past has been in short bursts. Lately Overwatch and DS3 have made me lose track of time. It feels like an hour or two but it turns out to be three or four hours.

I was considering it... but then my younger bro offered to sell me his Wii U... Now I'm just waiting to see how the game turned out on the Wii U before making a decision.

That being said, I'm definitely gonna need a Switch when Mario Odyssey comes out later this year.

Zelda is one of the last reasons I'd want to get my hands on the Switch.

Don't get me wrong, I love Zelda but I can easily play it on my Wii U. If I was picking the Switch up at launch, it's because Nintendo announced a huge batch of N64 and GameCube VC games. Mystical Ninja 64 2? Space Station Silicon Valley 64? Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door? Viewtiful Joe 2? Hell yeah I'd pay $400+ to play those games on the go.

Otherwise, it's all about Splatoon 2 and Mario Odyssey. Based on everything we've seen, those are the only two games worth making the Switch, otherwise now is a good time to invest in the Wii U and getting all the quality games on the cheap.

Noice. Would love to see the favor returned in Nier but that's may be unlikely.

The previews came out for Zelda yesterday and they were all absolutely gushing. Many comparisons to the original and OOT, as well as SM64 for being a launch title.

And now the first review came out from Edge...10/10. 19th perfect score in their history and the first since Bloodborne.

    Soon!!!!!!

The ticket for the Wii U version of Zelda released today, so it's playable if you have a modded Wii U.

In other news, a sequel to Shadow of Mordor has been announced, the first was a great deal of fun, just work out some of the rough edges and make the ending not suck, and it should be great.

So Stardrew Valley is getting local multiplayer and it'll be timed console exclusive to the Switch.

And in major news, MS announced XB Game Pass. Similar to EA Access, for $9.99 a month, you can download games from a vast and ever expanding library of XB1 and 360 games. Not just MS published games either, confirmed partners include 2K, BANDAI NAMCO, Capcom, Codemasters, Deep Silver, Sega, SNK, THQ Nordic, and Warner Bros. Great idea.

"Should we enter the castle? Once we go in there's no coming back."

"Yeah, let's go play some mini-games first."

    "Hit Me."

Reminds me of the Zelda Distractions video from back in the day, which turns out was also made by College Humour.

This might not mean much coming from someone that thought Mass Effect 1 & 2(Never bothered playing 3) were extremely boring story wise and mediocre at best gameplay wise... but I think Mass Effect: Andromeda looks incredibly poopy.

I don't know if I'd say it looks poopy, but it is a franchise that shiuld have stayed dead in my opinion

( ?_?) - 97% of PW suddenly think Michael Cole is awesome. If you're part of the 3% that still thinks he is an annoying tool, copy & paste this into your sig.

Andromeda looks horrible. Characters look dead when they talk and graphics are from 2011. ME 1 had better facial animations FFS. This is what happens, when you give the game to a studio, that has done ZERO games before.
