I know I'm probably taking the bait with Eugene , but I just don't trust him. Aside from like 14 minutes of screen time Eugene has proven to me that he is about himself first and foremost and will do what it takes for HIM to survive. I'm sure at the end of the day he is just being the inside guy but that doesn't mean I ain't skeptical on his character.

    Simon is pretty great.

Everyone go check out NBC's newest comedy, Trial & Error. Just like the Good Place, this show feels like a successor to Parks and Rec. Just in two episodes, it's not hard to see the chemistry between the cast. The premise is wacky as hell, and it has moments that has me dying. I can't believe the number of network comedies that I enjoy these days It's a lot more than I would have expected a few years ago.

Also my own personal theory regarding The Walking Dead , based on The Talking Dead - I'm putting it in spoilers just because , but as far as I know based on ZERO research - there is no actual chatter about this anywhere.

Due to season 5 actually happening, and it getting a conclusion, I binged through Samurai Jack for the first time. It is an fantastic series, but I do think it falls back on macguffins and Aku fights a bit too often, it's at it's best when it's exploring unique encounters. So many episodes are "My journey is over." just for him to A) sacrifice it to save others, B) have it destroyed, or C) it was a lie. Plus with Aku being the big bad, Jack kicks his ass way too often, so many deus ex machinas to keep Jack from finishing him off, should have really saved 'em, made 'em feel special. These two things really give a bit of redundancy on a binge. BUT, it still has some of the most beautiful sequences I've ever seen, the light and shadow fight was simply phenomenal, and so many great little stories there within. A bit of redundancy doesn't keep it from being an amazing series.

Legion is amazing, I really hope the finale can match what this last episode did, relentless pace, all the way down to the last instant.

I have a season 3 of Homeland question...

Ok so the season is going along in the first few episodes with the storyline of Saul fucking over Carrie and having her in the institution and leaving her partially holding the bag over the season 2 bombing. It's then later revealed this was all apart of some set up by Carrie and Saul to get to some high ranking official. My question is...if Carrie and Saul were always in on this plan why did Carrie act so hurt and destroyed when she saw Saul on tv letting it be known that Carrie had a mental disorder and her relationship with Brody? Wasn't this part of the plan that she was in on? Why does she give the "fuck you" to saul in the mental institution if they are in on it? It felt like this was just done to trick the viewers but in storyline made zero sense. Or did I miss something? I guess you could explain away the "fuck you" as maybe her being upset with him for letting her go through with this plan but it doesn't explain the other. I know in public things had to appear a certain way but when she was alone some of it made no sense.

You're talking about homeland, which like 24, barely seems planned out in advance. I'd guess they were like "eh this story stinks, let's put Saul and Carrie back together cause it was all a trick!" in the writers room.

Fantastic show. It's a shame that the finale falls on the same night as WrestleMania.

It did irk me. They could have went along with the story line just fine but your right, it's like mid stream they just said "meh, fuck this storyline, it was all for show...oh that makes zero sense? Meh the viewers won't care". I care dammnit! Still though season 3 has been pretty great so far even if they threw logic out the window on that storyline.

I'm rewatching the end of Leftovers season 2 lately. The whole season is good but sometimes there's just too much emotion in it. The last few episodes are crazy as fuck and I wanted to get ready for season three.

I should one day rewatch from the beginning, see if I like season one more on a second viewing.

Next week marks the series finale for Black Sails, for a show I was still unsure of after season 1, it became the show it was meant to be in the second and has just not let up, becoming one of my favorite shows. Hope it can end as masterfully as it built the rest of the series.

    So @TWD

Was hoping it wouldn't be a whole episode dedicated to Oceanside. Eugene continues to be hilarious and makes me wish I had narrated GPS of the guy. Looks like they're spinning Dwight's actual arc to match his comic counterpart. Of course I also read something where someone says it would be a Russo-esque swerve for him to be what everyone has predicted would be Sasha's demise

    Spoiler

It's one way to go back from Negan's bitch to chewing people's throats out again. One episode left for the season that takes place the same day as WM. Fun Fact: last year's WM also took place on the same night as the season finale. Even Funner Fact: When Dean Ambrose faced Brock Lesnar he actually got in less offense than either Abe or Glenn when they faced Lucille.

    That was during the premiere.

I have another probably wrong hair brained idea after last nights episode , and that's the garbage people or "scavengers" turn on Rick , or have turned a Rick. Negan tells Sasha at one point that a little birdy told him Rick and the gang were up to no good and I could not for the life of me figure out who that might be. It couldn't of been Eugene because the uprising never really started until after Eugene was already long gone and no one else truly knows what Rick and the gang is up to.

Which led me to the scavengers - they said they have never heard of Negan , but really I remember them having little to no guns at their disposal when the first encounter took place ... the only reason for them to have little to no guns would be because Negan took all of them just like they have been doing to every other community they've come across. They know who Negan is and I could totally see someone selling Rick and the gang out for their own prosperity with the Saviors (see Gregory).

Otherwise: Who was this birdie? Who else knows what Rick is up to that we cannot trust? Rick was pretty damn loose lipped with who he was telling his plan to.
