Matt Sydal vs Trevor Lee and LAX vs Decay were good matches. Eli Drake back stage was great. Kind of like Davey and Angelina. The rest of the show was kind of blah. JB and Josh both suck and can go.

They really need to get their script together. I've noticed missed timing several times the past few weeks. Last night it was Karen told Sienna that Christina Von Eerie was up next and the next thing was EC3 in the ring.

And just change the grand champion to the TV title and start having real matches.

Well the divisions seemed better fleshed out now it seems still seems worse. I am guessing because they brought in so many people they really haven't had time to work on anyone character. And outsides the wolves there aren't any real feuds.

Remember this? Look at the faces. More importantly, where do they work now?

I agree they brought in too many people at one time should have spread it out.

This weeks show was good not great, but it did have two really good matches. Evan Bourne and Eddie Edwards was really good. As was Alberto El Pinko and E-Li-Drake. If only Eli had not botches the spring board moonsault. No need so show Sonijay's eye. Hope the Spud Swoggle angle leads to a repackaging of Spud for the better. Rest of the show kind of blah.

And a shout to another thread with What's Biff Tannen doing in the Impact Zone???

When I watch Matt Sydal, the only thing I can think about is how boring he was as Evan Bourne. They really neutered that guy in the WWE because he is damn good. I guess Sydal was one of those guys that wasn't done any favors by whom ever was "producing" his wwe matches.
I can't say enough about Eli Drake and EC3 right now. The heel turn of EC3 has been one of the better turns I've seen in a while. A slow burn, transition from face to pissed off face to even more pissed face and finally the heel turn.

One thing I like about Sydal is that he does not really look like the Evan Bourne I remember. Almost like a different wrestler.

I just looked at a recent pic of Matt Sydal... He looks like a small hobo version of Fandango... I blame the synthetic weed.

This weeks show was just ok. I'm growing very tired of multi wrestler x division matches. I can honestly careless about Josh and JB. EC3 and Storm does nothing for me. The Laredo Kid & Garza Jr. vs. Hakim Zane & Idris Abraham was decent, but the wrong team won. I actually enjoyed Hakim Zane and Idris Abraham and would not mind seeing them get push. Laurel Van Ness needs to drop the drunk bride and just be a bitter badass. I'm already tired of VoW. Would not mind seeing Eli and Masters team up. The Wolves who cares. I'd rather they feud with different people than each other. Magnus still sucks. I kind of enjoy El Pinko. Their match just ok.

Don West was selling Team Allie shirts to commemorate the great Allie and Rosemart rivalry. Don't think that has happen yet wonder did they shoot some stuff out of order.

It was a good little run. The worst thing in wrestling is and always will be the politics. But there's a lot of talent still there and I really enjoyed my time there. Big thanks to all the guys and gals I worked with.

The writing was on the wall after the Hardys left.

I enjoyed what he brought to the promotion. TNA was a fun petri dish of all these promotions, with the Helms Dynasty representing OMEGA and the southern wrestling scene. It's just a shame they didn't give them any opponents to work with. Why TNA didn't bother bringing in the odd independent act for each set of tapings is mind boggling. You'd think some of these guys would appreciate the exposure and opportunity to work in a television environment.

As crazy as it is, I bet the rebranding helps them get a new TV Deal.

So, let me get this straight:

    Anthem bought TNA.
Almost immediately, they let most of the identifiable talent of the promotion walk and cycled in new talent, as well as bringing in new management.
They let Jeff Jarrett book his worthless brand all over their television program, and then bought his worthless brand.
They then rebranded as Jeff Jarrett's worthless brand.

If you didn't want most of the talent contracts, or the Impact brand, why even buy the company at all? Why not just invest with Jarrett to begin with? I mean, you're a television company. With some funding behind it, you could put the show on your own networks and eventually find an American television partner.

Rebranding TNA is a good idea. I've been saying they needed to do it for over a decade. The three letters were always limiting with kids. But man, what a weird-ass way to go about it. It's like buying a famous burger joint with a special ingredient, then announcing you're changing the name and you're not making burgers anymore.

It is kinda backwards but TNA does have a lot of history. And the early work of some of current WWE stars could still turn a profit. If Joe some how conquers the beast there may be a "new" GFW best of Samoa Joe dvd.

So tonight is PPV night when World, Womens, and Tag get unified. So does Impact keep the current Impact titles, use the GFW titles, or make a new wave of belts. I think they will use option 2 but hopefully they make new belts because the GFW belts don't look as good to me.
