Because we've long been bored of current TNA and would like to go back and watch the old shows in an easy to find and watch way? Don't get what's hard to understand.

I don't really understand what value TNA adds to the WWE.

TNA isn't WCW - it never gave the WWE an ass-kicking and it sure wasn't viable competition at any point.
TNA isn't ECW - it was never that innovative, apart from the X-Division - The WWE is creating it's own light-heavyweight history in NXT, The CWC.

The WWE already has a massive, super hot, independent type brand in NXT. Infact one could argue that NXT is everything TNA should have been.

If they do purchase TNA, it would be quiet, and slowly, but surely you'll start seeing the origin stories of the likes of Roode, Aries, Joe, etc on The WWE Network.

Well, I don't watch old shows from anything, for one. That's a bit hard to understand.

Plus, TNA in 2016 has some pretty fun creative things that I don't want to go away. And I don't need everything to go through the WWE filter for it to be deemed okay for watching.

Do The Hardys need TNA to produce their wacky brand of wrestling theatre?

The Hardys could work independents, promote and build their feuds on the live shows, then co-produce with the company they're working with another crazy episode to sell with the company's PPV, online distribution, DVDs.

    They want the tape library.

Say what you will about TNA but they have tons of material on current WWE guys there (AJ, Joe, Roode, Aries) along with footage of guys like Angle, Flair, Hogan, Sting, Dudleys, Christian, Booker T, Rob Van Dam etc. That's worth a lot of them for content on the network.

Probably not, but they probably like the fact that they have cable TV for it to be seen by the masses rather than subscribers to their youtube channel.

And there's really only one place where they can have this level of creative freedom, and they're at the point where they can enjoy that without having to be too concerned about the money.

But you know that other people do so why is it hard to understand? Are you incapable of understanding someone else's point of view?

Fair enough. I disagree but I can understand why you think differently. The Hardyz stuff was fun for me for a week, but I'm long bored of it. Everything else is beyond dull and tired to me.

And I don't need everything to go through the WWE filter for it to be deemed okay for watching.

And neither do I. But I already pay for the WWE Network so getting to watch TNA there as well would be extremely convenient for me. It would be easy to use and of a high quality. Again, I don't see what's hard to understand about people wanting that. In the same way I'd rather PWG make a deal with WWE so I can watch their stuff in a quick and easy way instead of having to wait months after shows to see them. The WWE Network is just a great way to get content.

I think, if WWE were to purchase TNA - outside of media distribution, another option would be to quickly cull the fat, meaning the entire undercard, the recently former WWE guys and the guys have have been dicking around forever from the roster, then put the leftovers through a WWE tryout at the PC and see who excels.

    - DJZ, NXT then part of the Cruiserweight division.
    - EC3, it's been 3 years.
    - James Storm is a no-brainer.
    - The Wolves.
    - Mike Bennett & Maria would be a good addition to NXT.

I'd even entertain the idea of Robbie E training at the PC with some NXT exposure to see how he performs.

    That's. About. It.

And R-Truth. His time in TNA was the best time of his entire career.

Ideally if the issue of the debt wasn't the problem would be foe Corgan to buy the company, sell the tape library to WWE and then use the existing talent contracts and TV deals to rebrand the company completely and start anew.

Stefen, i'd honestly say IF that was to happen, billy would better off to invest his money elsewhere tbh, like with ROH or RPW, as i am sure that the WWE would not be happy just in buying the tape library, they would want everything else too, trademarks and anything else that was not screwed down, thats what they did with WCW, AWA, GCW and ECW, with getting the trademarks, belts and tape libraries .

If WWE buys TNA, the tape library AND getting guys to make the roster deeper are the two appeals. If I was Vince, I would shut TNA down FLAT OUT! TNA has some very good to even great talent, so it would be an awesome way to get things in order. Get Roode, Joe, Aries, Revival, and Nakamura on the main roster. From there, they can use a lot of the TNA talent for NXT. But the Hardys, Lashley, EC3, Storm, and some others can head to the main roster. So the roster depth for the brand split would pick up IMMEDIATELY! And we have awesome new content for the Network!

I really thought No Mercy was this weekend and was going to saw it may be the first time both companies had ppvs on the same night so something may happen. But I was wrong. If it does die at BFG at least the last few months were pretty fun.

Time has just run out. They were supposed to get funding for the pay per view and next set of television tapings by today at 5 PM EST, and it just got to 5 PM EST.

    RIP TNA.

If it's the end of TNA, it sucks for the LOLTNA page. The site barely works no, spot would be really dead after the fact.

Bound for Glory is apparently still happening and my guess is that WWE paid for it.

I've watched Impact the last few weeks, and I'll state it wasn't terrible - it wasn't good either.

It lacks excitement, there is no star power. I won't dwell on the bad stuff, there was some good.

    - Drew Galloway is a beast that could of, should of been utilized better in the WWE. He's an absolute monster compared to the rest of the roster.
    - I could listen to E-LI-Drake talk smack all night. But they need to harness his mic skills, away from the comedy stuff and legitimize him as a contender - he can talk, they need this guy to step up.
    - As with Rex. He needs to evolve away from ' Damien Sandow ' into a new character. Grittier, dirtier, he needs an ' Austin 316 just whooped your ass ' moment.
    - Maria v Allie would be great, if either could wrestle.
