Daryl has amazing odds as I really think he and Glen are about equal in terms of who got killed off. Definitely laying a 10 spot on Daryl and hedging my bet with Glen.

Although it hurts my soul to lay fake money on Daryl kicking the bucket.

I think Daryl is too important to the show- in terms of fanbase, publicity, and merchandise. I think Abraham is the best bet- the show can handle so many badass characters at once. Maggie and Glenn are outside choices because of the emotional impact. I think Rosita and Sasha might be safe, because it'd be too easy an out for Abraham's situation.

I read somewhere that it may be 2 people Negan kills off. Obviously TWD keeps everything fairly close lipped so nothing is for sure. I think Abraham or Glenn will have a big impact and while I don't want either to Take the bat, they have to make it an important character or the opener will be a big disappointment after that huge cliffhanger.

If they kill off two, I think it'd be pretty awesome/sad to see Eugene take the bat and then Abraham, his best bud, lose his shit and try to get at Negan before suffering the same fate. Double whammy.

It's probably Glenn. But I'm throwing down a tenner on Daryl just because of those odds.

And I'm putting some money on Maggie because the theories about her and Glenn switching roles in the show to maintain some surprise make me want to see it happen. Wishful thinking, but whatever.

    But it's probably Glenn.

I don't really disagree , but putting him on par with Rick in terms of odds is a little off. Rick has NO CHANCE of dying while I do still believe they could throw a curve and have it be Daryl. 250/1 isn't bad for Daryl in a vacuum , but Rick should then be like 2500/1. Carl should be up there too IMO because he is the only other unkillable next to Rick.

Arguing more about the show I suppose than than the vBookie. Although I think I should do more than just hedge my bet with Glenn.

Storyline wise, I get it (especially with the whole "wild horse that got killed while scouting with Aaron" storyline used as a metaphor for Daryl). But I think considering Daryl's rabid fanbase, and how every piece of merchandise is almost equally Daryl or Rick, or Daryl and Rick, that putting them on equal terms wasn't too far off.

If they did try to kill off Daryl, I could AMC stepping in even and saying "FUCK NO", since they need to hold onto as much of their viewers as possible after losing several of their top rated shows the past few years.

I don't really disagree all that much , it's what has calmed my nerves during all this fallout worrying about Daryl... I've used a lot of the same logic. I don't think 250 is a bad number of him by itself after thinking about it.

However I think the only truly "unkillable" people on the show are Rick and Carl , ergo there odds should be astronomical.

I for one think there only 2 possibilities: Glenn or Darryl. So, since I agree with Voxtz reasoning behind not killing Darryl, I went with Glenn. Will be really shocked if it is anybody else.

There were 4 possibilities but, due to their method for the finale, it really does completely eliminate 1 of the characters.

If they're going from the perspective that they provided clues in the season via the First Person POV, there are only two choices: Glenn and Rosita.

If you're adding characters that would work best from a future narrative perspective: Abraham (notice that he silently volunteers himself a few times) and Maggie.

The method of the finale and the subsequent wait completely eliminates Rosita; leaving it to Glenn, Maggie and Abraham. The fact that Abraham appeared to voluntarily sacrifice himself a few times in the scene only SLIGHTLY decreases that chances of it being him.

Without getting into book spoilers, I'd put it like this: most logical: Glenn; easiest: Abraham; shock value AND potentially story changing: Maggie.

I put money on Abraham or Maggie. Glenn is who I'd personally pick because he honestly makes the most sense given the fake out earlier in the season and the hints/nods to it.

I'm sticking with my darkhorse Daryl until the very end (ie the premier), until then, he's my call.

Of course they could have that leaked to avoid spoilers. Didn't they claim they taped a death scene for each character?

That's honestly what they should do to avoid leaks.

It's what the Simpsons did with "Who Shot Mr Burns" and it's the smart thing to do here.

After watching the talking dead preview show, they kept saying to not watch the start of season 7 by yourself because it's going to have you in tears. To me it has to be Glen, they softened the negative reaction with the death tease they did with him in season 6.

I think at this point if it's Glenn, they're just going to piss the viewers off even more. I think they're calling an audible and it's going to be someone else.

I'm putting my money on Maggie just for the shock value. Beating a pregnant woman to death in front of her husband and friends would just be insane. I know this will get shot down by people that read the comics (specifically the type of person Negan is in them) but the show doesn't seem to give a fuck so neither do I.

I can't find it anywhere but I'm sure I saw it on reddit or something that Kirkman confirmed it'd be the first scene.

They wouldn't have Reedus on set for as many episode as he's been seen if they've killed him off in the first episode

If you were trying to avoid spoilers that's the way to do it especially with how popular he is. That's what I'd do.
