Does anyone actually believe Floyd that he won't fight again? 49-0 is dangling the carrot, surely he'll take the 50th fight to set a record. It might take the lure of a Pacquiao rematch to tempt him. If it's to be another fight in the Berto range - no thank you. I'd rather him stay retired. I love watching Floyd but what a pointless fight.

Do Pac Man 2 or Khan. No other (realistic) fight is remotely interesting except maybe Cotto if he beats Alvarez

( ?_?) - 97% of PW suddenly think Michael Cole is awesome. If you're part of the 3% that still thinks he is an annoying tool, copy & paste this into your sig.

Currently Playing: Suikoden 1, Max Payne 1, Beyond Good and Evil, MGS Peace Walker

That only matters for heavyweights. Chavez went 87 fights without losing. Many other fighters in the lower weight classes went longer than 49 fights without losing.

No, he is a pro athlete. Retired means something different to them than never competing again. He will most likely compete again in my opinion. Just even more on his own terms.

Well the Klitschko fight is postponed. Detontay showed that he needs some polish but still and impressive TV debut. GGG fight on the 17th coming up.

I was a huge Naseem Hamed fan back in the day. Say him fight Cesar Soto and Marco Antonio Barerra live. This would be an interesting match up.

Naseem would lose to Floyd by a pretty wide margin. Naseem had terrible balance and left himself open to counter punching all too often.

Been on a Wilfred Benitez trip lately. He had some great fights against Sugar Ray, Roberto Duran, and Thomas Hearns.

In terms of sheer natural talent, Benitez may be the greatest fighter ever. Unfortunately he had little to no work ethic, often fighting with little to no training camp at all. He literally made Roberto Duran look like a gym rat, and it cost him in many of his biggest fights.

If he had Sugar Ray or Marvin Hagler's work ethic I think he would have easily surpassed them both.

That being said, even with his laziness he was still a sure fire Hall of Fame fighter, which says tons about how naturally good he was.

That's cute and all but I'd take Rousey by submission, less than 5 minutes. If you can't fight on the ground, you can't fight, big muscles or not.

Is that why Kimo did so well against Royce? His excellent ground skill helped him make Royce unable to continue.

Obviously that meme was more about worthiness of fame / dominance in a combat sport.

Kimo did so well against Royce because he outweighed him by 80-90 pounds and was a street tough thug. It's not how you start a fight, it's how you finish. Kimo tapped out because he couldn't fight any more, he wanted out of the fight. Royce made him quit.

If that meme was about worthiness of fame/dominance in combat sports, the meme was a failure. Ronda's just a hype job, but yet, Ronda would probably make the other girl quit in a real fight.

Saying Ronda only has 3KOs, when nobody has ever gone the distance with her, is dishonest semantics.

Anne Wolfe was awesome, and sort of had the same problems Ronda is having now. For all the complaints about Ronda's competition, Anne's was pretty piss poor. Her entire prime seemed to be building up to fighting Laila Ali, but Laila shameless ducked her, and it never happened. In the meantime, Anne was probably facing even worse competition than Ronda is now.

C'mon a street tough thug? He was just a muscle machine. All he was was big muscles. And big muscles make you weigh 80-90 more.

Maybe it's me, but ending a fight by knockout doesn't make for a better fighter. A submission or knockout shows off your strength to over power your opponent, but a knockout is just a flashier end to a fight, while a submission isn't as much. Personally, I'd rather beat a person by submission, because it means I made the other person quit, compared to just shut the lights out on them.

Can't wait to see the ESPN 30 for 30 documentary about Holyfield and Tyson, "Chasing Tyson" next Tuesday night. Looks really good.

The 30 for 30's are always good. This one should be as well.

Canelo vs Cotto the winner will bet to possibly duck GGG. Who do you have to win? I saw De la Hoya and Jay Z have a $100,000 bet on this and De La Hoya is looking at 1.5 million buys.
