    Default WWE Pressuring Daniel Bryan

"While nothing is definite right now regarding Daniel Bryan competing at the upcoming Money In The Bank pay-per-view, thereís a feeling among many that even if itís not the best thing for Bryanís health, he will end up working a match at the show because of how tough mentally he is, and how he always wants to be in the thick of things.

Itís being said that there is tremendous pressure being put on Bryan in real life to be ready at the MITB PPV, whether itís being said directly or just strongly implied."

Obviously. I don't think they're pressuring him to return before he's ready though.

Absolutely not. They cannot afford that kind of press even if they wanted him to and every other wrestler came down with MRSA that week. Another wrestler who could possibly be crippled in the ring because the company forced him to work Post-op? That'll look great on the Ledgers.
There is zero chance the WWE would risk that and jeopardize his future. One match isn't worth a career of ticket and merchandise sales.

Obviously pressuring him because they know we are all dying to see this match with Kane...again.

To be fair if DB is feeling pressure it's likely due to the pressure he and other wrestlers put on themselves of not wanting to be out of action doing what they live encouraged by the fickleness of most fans.

I agree with this. "Strongly implied" is pretty subjective. Daniel Bryan just may be feeling the pressure considering they built him up so much, revolved Wrestlemania around him, and now he can't compete. I can't imagine WWE's "powers that be" nudging Bryan to return to action before he's completely healed. If that got out to be true, that'd be extremely bad press.

That's why I think they should've just stripped him of the title and he could've come back at his leisure with a built-in storyline continuing against The Authority. Honestly, how many fans are hoping that they do the MITB for the title? I know I am. Bryan is good, but he's not healthy.

Is this sourced elsewhere? I do not believe our site is a valid source of wrestling news and has not been for years. Not since I did reporting at least <.<

They're not fucking mental enough to pressure a guy coming off neck surgery to perform before he's ready.

Does anybody remember how long C.M. Punk was injured as champ yet never got stripped ? Wasn't it almost 6 weeks ?

I think WWE is hesitant to strip Bryan of the title because they don't want to see the fans hijack their plans later on in hopes of putting the title back on him. Daniel Bryan and his fans forced WWE to change their plans at this year's WM. They also hijacked the Survivor Series and Royal Royal main events. The last thing WWE wants is for the fans to hijack their plans going into next year. That's why I think they are reluctant to strip him of the title. They just want him to get his run with the title then move on.

But Punk was secondary as champ, he wasn't even main eventing for a big part of his reign. Bryan is a huge part of what they've invested in. It's different situations.

Also, Punk was a heel. It's much easier to have heel not defend the title because they can come up with so many excuses for the storyline.

As soon as I clicked on this thread I had the strongest odour of bullshit waft into my nostrils.

The WWE are so invested in Bryan it isn't even funny and they're going to give him every oppourtunity to recover and do what he needs to do because of how vital he is now.

They didn't have a choice. The money match with The Rock was at stake!
