Default Potential spoiler on if Bryan will be in the rumble match

As noted, Daniel Bryan was cleared to return from a concussion on Monday afternoon. WWE made sure not to put him in a position where he would have to take bumps on last night's show so he could have another week to rest up before the Royal Rumble singles match against Bray Wyatt.

Many fans have been wondering if Bryan will have a spot in the 30-man Royal Rumble main event. As of Monday afternoon, Bryan was not going to be in the match. His only appearance at the Rumble is scheduled to be the match against Wyatt.

Now, I don't think Bryan has to win the rumble, but I think it'd be foolish to not have him in it at all. He's one of the few people who have an actual shot at winning so taking him out makes the match more predictable with only about 3 other guys (Punk, Batista, Reigns) who could actually win. He's the most over guy in the company and would bring a ton of excitement to the match. If he's cleared to compete, I see no reason he shouldn't be involved in the rumble match.

In this day and age WWE can't really work the audience completely since we all know it's not real. So to work us they leak bullshit rumors and lie to wrestling "journalists" and rumor mongers so we can get all riled up.

Bryan WILL be in the Rumble, and he WILL win it. I have little doubt. So little doubt that on the betting thread once it's up I'm making only one bet. I'm going all in for Bryan to win it.

There's a part of me that wants Daniel Bryan out of the Rumble.

Just to see people defend it and justify it.

    YOU WILL COMPLY.

Daniel Bryan will be in the Rumble. I'd be amazed if he wasn't. It's going to happen. Not sure who will win it to be honest, quite a wide open Rumble.

I'm still convinced we're getting Cena/Punk/Bryan at Mania, it's the biggest possible match they can do. With Lesnar looming on the horizon, I don't see Orton walking out of the Rumble as champ, so Bryan can win the chamber to get a shot and make it a triple threat.

Either that, or we're getting Bryan vs HHH where Bryan gets his revenge, or that rumor is true and we're getting Bryan vs Undertaker.

Either way, it's been nice not having you complain for a week.

I like not knowing whether or not he'll be in the match but at the same time I can't help but think WWE would never be as stupid as to leave their hottest act out of one of the biggest matches of the year.

Regardless of the hate they get, there is a lot of common sense in WWE, especially in recent years. The comfort of predictability has left the building, hence some people are very uncomfortable.

Instead of Bryan/Batista at the end, what if Taker does come in at #30 and he and Bryan wrestle for 15-20 minutes at the end before Bryan eliminates Taker to win. That'd be WrestlePorn.

A little too reminiscent of HBK/Taker during the final 2 a few years back.

How about Bryan eliminates Batista, Cena, Orton (yes, both Cena and Orton are in the match, even though one will be champion), Punk, Big Show, Lesnar, a returning Hogan, Rock, Austin, Hart and Michaels. Simultanously.

    Yup.

And then he's eliminated by Triple H.

and then does Triple H win the Rumble at that point or does he get eliminated by The Shield when they come out as entrants 28, 29, and 30?

Wait, folks, it was only a false elimination. Bryanused his powers of levitation to keep his feet from the floor. HHH went to the outside to push his feet down, but quickly realized that by going outside, both feet touched the floor and Bryan outsmarted him to eliminate him. Bryan wins the PW Rumble!

Bruno couldn't come out of retirement to put Bryan over too? When will the burials stop!?

If Bray Wyatt defeats Bryan at the Rumble (most likely by cheating) or if Bryan wins but Bray gets the last laugh by standing over him, Daniel Bryan WILL be in the Royal Rumble. If Bryan defeats Bray and gets to do the YES chant after the match he will NOT be in the Rumble.

After Bryan eliminates Bruno Sammartino from the Royal Rumble, Bryan celebrates in the middle of the ring along with 15,000 people doing the 'Yes!' chant.

In a shocking turn, the lights go out, and you hear the sound of Undertaker's gong!!!!

The lights come back on and reveal that the Undertaker is making his way into the Royal Rumble from below the ring thru a tear in the mat!!!

(It will later be revealed that this is why WWE did not do another ring implosion spot during the Brock vs. Big Show match. 'Taker will be sitting under the ring for the entire PPV, which was hell on his surgically repaired hip by the way.)

In any event, as 'Taker makes his way thru the tear in the mat, Daniel Bryan greets him with a perfectly timed bukakke knee kick (or whatever that move is called).

Daniel Bryan throws 'Taker over the top rope, both of 'Taker's feet touch the floor, and Daniel Bryan is going to Wrestlemania!!!!!!!

And at Wrestlemania, Daniel Bryan defeats The Undertaker 22 consecutive times to hold a new streak of his own.

    Zero percent? Eh....

I would put it at 5%. He's easily the 3rd highest if Bryan isn't in it. Maybe 4th depending on if Sheamus returns (and WWE.com is advertising him doing a meet and greet the day before in Pittsburgh).

Let me show you my math.

Will Reigns win the Royal Rumble? No.
    =Zero percent

Reigns will get some primetime booking. But he won't win. And being the third or fourth most likely to win doesn't make a difference. Past a certain cut off, everyone has a zero percent chance of winning the Rumble. Reigns is at the top of that cut off.

Bryan winning the Rumble is the only good way this ends. Anything else sucks and makes no sense.

Now is a hard time to believe any wrestling reports considering just a week ago many were saying that Bryan could be out for the long haul and that his concussion was seen on the same level as Zigglers.
