As far as personal favorites go, mine would be (and note that I'm only listing ones that I actually saw live):

    1. John Cena, WrestleMania 29

    2. CM Punk, Survivor Series 2011

    3. Eddie Guerrero, No Way Out 2004

    4. John Cena, WrestleMania 21

    5. Edge, New Year's Revolution 2006

    6. Jeff Hardy, Armageddon 2008

    7. John Cena, WrestleMania XXVI

    8. Triple H, Backlash 2008

    9. Rob Van Dam, ECW One Night Stand 2006

    10. The Rock, Royal Rumble 2013

2 and 1 should be switched around.

Honestly, I'd take CM Punk's MiTB win over his survivor series win. Even if his second reign marked the 434 days one, it still doesn't hold up for when he DOES finally win it the first time.

    Thanks to Bender and Stefan.

I agree. It was the start of his historical 434 day reign and it took place inside a historical building like Madison Square Garden but still, the title win over Del Rio itself wasn't monumental and no knew he would be keeping the belt for as long as he did. The most significant match of his entire reign was losing it to The Rock, especially since that match also has the significance of Rock winning the WWE Title for the very last time (and the first time in almost 11 years) but I guess they wanted to not only limit the list to one win per person, but wanted to include a win from Punk's 434 day reign. His MITB 2011 win was definitely his biggest moment, though.

I guess other than Brock Lesnar's win at Summerslam 2002 and MAYBE Edge's cash in at New Year's Revolution 2006, the list is pretty accurate. WWE putting Austin as #1 over Hogan though kinda shows that the recent NOC poll about the greatest WWF/E Champion ever (which Hogan won by a landslide) wasn't rigged.

Not a bad list, but I would switch the rankings a bit and change a select few choices.

As much as I hate Hogan, his 84 win should be 1st.

    I'd also put Savage's and Warrior's win either 2nd or 3rd.

I agree with the CM Punk comment. MITB should be listed instead of Survivor Series. I'd also like to see Edge's and RVD's MITB wins in there.

I know there are some good ones not mentioned, but I don't think any of the ones on the WWE list should be removed. Maybe rearranged but not removed.

BTW, don't know if it counts but I am really wondering why Jericho's win at Vengeance and becoming the WWE Undisputed champion isn't at least there. I mean, that was a pretty big deal, and to some degree it still kind of is.

    Thanks to Bender and Stefan.

Rob Van Dam at One Night Stand should make the list in my opinion.

I'd put Foley's win much higher and replace Cena's anticlimactic win at Wrestlemania 21 with Edge cashing in MITB for the first time. Maybe find room for RVD too.

Agreed. No idea why that 'Mania 21 win is on there.

Also, isn't it weird to consider, all the Undertaker has done, he doesn't really have a memorable title win? The only one that registers close to this list, I'd say, is his first against Hogan.

Foley's win should be top 5 at least.

And where was Rock's Rumble win from this year, that one was pretty big considering the lenth between his latest title reings.

The Warrior's win should be higher up the list. The pop he got when he won the Title was fuckin' insane.

Get rid of the Rock at Backlash and put Ric Flair's Royal Rumble win on. Flair put on one of the greatest performances ever in one of the greatest matches ever to win his first WWF strap. At the very least, it was more memorable than Backlash 2000, which I must've watched live at the time, and I honestly remember nothing about it. What was is the Rock's 5th time he won? Kind of random.

I haven't seen Eddy, Cena, or Punk, but I love Eddy, so I'm going to support that one, anyway.

His first two WHC wins are both far more memorable than any of his WWE Title wins.

Cena's win over JBL was a crappy match at Mania. I wish they had both more time and a stipulation based purely on their next ppv together.

I would have Benoit on there, but I know that will never happen.

It will never happen, first of all, because Benoit was never WWE Champion.

Warrior's should be higher too; face vs. face for the first time maineventing a Mania, and the first time Hogan was pinned clean during his reign. A huge moment!

I agree Foley's should be higher.

Cena's title win over JBL wasn't the greatest match in the world, but it does have a lot of historical significance. Not only was it his firts WWE title, he ended JBL's monster reign, and it was the night that kickstarted Cena's reign as a major player/the man in the WWE.

I won't make a top ten, but I can think of some off the top of my head as far as title wins that got me excited. In chronological order:

    1. Hulk Hogan, Wrestlemania 9

    2. Undertaker, Wrestlemania 13

    3. Stone Cold, Wrestlemania 14

    4. Stone Cold, the Raw after KOTR 1998

    5. Stone Cold, Wrestlemania 15

    6. Chris Jericho, A Raw in the year 2000, decision got reversed, but it was exciting

    7. The Rock, Backlash 2000

    8. Hulk Hogan, Backlash 2002 due to nostalgia, but the novelty wore off very fast and it was a bad idea in hindsight.

    9. Eddie Gurrerro, No Way Out 2004

    10. John Cena, Wrestlemania 21

    11. RVD, One Night Stand 2006 (What is hilariously ironic, is the fact that this was the night I became a Cena, he grew on me big time in that match.)

    12. Triple H, Backlash 2008

    13. Jeff Hardy, Armageddon 2008

    14. John Cena, Extrmeme Rules 2011

    15. The Rock, Royal Rumble 2013

    16. John Cena, Wrestlemania 29

Mania 21 was also probably more important because it was he night that began a new era, starting with the two new faces of the company John Cena and Batista. Honorable mentions to Randy Orton and Edge.
