    Thumbs up SmackDown Party

I must say, I like this Miz/Ziggler/Show group who aren't happy with Triple H's regime. They picked a good group of guys who are selling their frustration really well.

Show especially. The guy is so underrated.

Alberto del rio is one if the best things going in wwe right now. Unfortunately I see him dropping the belt at night of champions so Damian can cash in. Either way though smackdown has two top heels who are really entertaining right now

I used to be one of Del Rio's biggest detractors, but he's been pretty enjoyable this year. I don't have a problem with him remaining champion for a while.

Hey, remember that time Big Show had an iron clad contract that meant he could not be fired under any circumstance?

Oh wait, he still has that.

The way they tried to pass it off as well via JBL on commentary

"HHH will take that ironclad contract and tear it to pieces"

Who offered Show this contract again?

Wasn't it the second most incompetent employee in WWE history, Big Johnny?

Still beats Kane's explanation for bringing back the mask.

Yes, it was Johnny, but if it's as iron clad as they've always made it seem, that shouldn't matter.

Most of the shit that goes on would be subject to a lawsuit if it were real. I hear what you're saying though!

I think it's a little different if you're talking about things like ambush attacks, which are pretty much entrenched into WWE canon by now.

If they want to make contracts part of the story, then I think they need to be consistent.

Big Johnny made the point of it, the rest just accepted it.

It's not great writing but there is a way to create the necessary tension.

I really wanted Orton to spray-paint "nWo." Oh well he was only off by one letter.

I wanted Orton to write "B", then turn away for a second before deciding to add a minus sign to the B.

Just watching the start and it's kind of sad for the story that Orton is still getting a face reaction. It's kind of cringeworthy...

( ?_?) - 97% of PW suddenly think Michael Cole is awesome. If you're part of the 3% that still thinks he is an annoying tool, copy & paste this into your sig.

As for the Iron Clad contract, they could just say that it was only for two years and just ran out. In real life Big Show did recently sign a new five year contract. They could just explain that the new one isn't as lucrative.

First, yay, a SmacKDown party thread! Just shows how better the product is getting overall that we're not just using the spoiler thread for one or two comments. Hopefully by the end of the year it'll be more than one page long.

Good little episode of SmackDown. Not as good as last week, but still okay. Still enjoying the continuity of the main WWE Title storyline from RAW to SD. But ut's finally really made the World Title completely irrelevant. Time to unify at WrestleMania.

Loving the direction of the Shield as the corporate henchmen. Hope they explain more for their reasoning for aligning with HHH...maybe they could say they were working for him all along?

As for Orton, people don't turn babyface overnight, and they fon't turn heel overnight either. Takes time.

I'm thinking we'll see either Linda or Shane McMahon come back and take care of business and help Bryan.

They could, and that would be a perfectly fine explanation.

The thing is, they have to say it, rather than us just assuming it.
