Default WWE wants talent to "step up"

    NoDq.com :

    - Officials have told a lot of the talent that now is the time to step up and work their hardest now that John Cena is out with an injury.

It was dictated that if there was ever a time in WWE to make a name for yourself and become a star, now is that time.

It would be nice to see a few guys who either don't get much TV time or aren't over try to get over with the crowd and get a push. Maybe even set up someone to fued with Cena when he returns.

Who would you like to see "step up" and get a push?

I'd like to see the entire tag team division get pushed, and it seems like we're getting that with the Uso's the Prime Time Players the Shield and the Real Americans. And of course you can't mention The Real Americans without talking about how Cesaro is a top 3 worker in the WWE he should be pushed posthaste. I'd also like to see Punk join Bryan in that "Cena Tier" so that when Cena comes back all guys can be roughly equivalent in terms of being top faces.

Now is the time for The Chosen One, Drew McIntyre, to skyrocket to the top. It is his destiny. Turn on 3MB, beat Jinder and Heath in a handicap match, main eventer.

...and William Regal becomes his manager

I've said it before and i'll say it every time a thread like this pops up, the answer is Justin Gabriel. He's a pretty decent worker, has a great look that female fans would love and all they have to do is let him incorporate his real life passion (for want of the proper term) adrenaline junkie into his character

Step up so that you can get crushed by Cena when he comes back, rendering all of your hard work meaningless... can't see why you wouldn't be motivated by that!

It'll be interesting to see if some talent starts to shine more now with Cena out. Ziggler is the most obvious one I can think of. His AJ/Big E thing must be over (or very close) and he was getting a push until then.

They've got guys that have been killing it for a long time (Ziggler, Cesaro, Kofi, Justin Gabriel, Christian, Cesaro again) and have gotten absolutely nowhere as a result. They can't exactly make a name for themselves if they aren't given anything to do.

I'd like to see either Cody Rhodes or Ziggler be that guy. One of them should have been at that star level by now but for some reason, it hasn't happened yet.

Most have been mentioned that come to my mind too. They have a bunch of guys who are right on the doorstep of making big names for themselves, all that's left is for them to do it. I figure Rey Mysterio will be big when he returns

It's finally time to turn Cena heel, and Bray Wyatt face, and replace fruity pebbles with Goat Flakes...

I'd absolutely love for it to be Ziggler , but won't hold my breath.

This could be a good time to let Big E loose , and definitely let his personality show.

Or you know. Call a few more guys up.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, No.

It is time for Yoshi Tatsu, The greater one, to rise up and and become the greatest champion this company has ever seen.

Exactly. I still don't get why he lost the title so quick and why they put him in this stupid feud in the first place.

I think by step up they mean make the best of what you are given. Kinda like AJ Lee did, before she got pushed.

Sorry but i can't see any of them being huge drawing main eventers , Cesaro is way ahead of the others in in ring work but could he be a huge draw , not so sure.

Depth of talent just isn't there like 15 years ago .

I disagree. The issue isn't whether they're talented or could they draw enough to merit their push, I feel that they're talented. In my opinion, it has more to do with the writers selling these characters to the fans by the story-lines they create. Their effort to write good story-lines are lacking for a lot of these wrestlers. Shame. I mean, you can work around an inability to speak well on the microphone. Look at Ryback, he isn't a great speaker and he's one dimensional in the ring. Is he a top draw? Does the WWE make a lot of money from his merchandise?

I would take all of the aforementioned names I'd mentioned over him today.

It's funny that the WWE now wants wrestlers to step up now that Cena is injured. When someone like Ryback stepped up, they buried him. This company is run by idiots and they will pay for it in the next few months for not building new stars when they had the chance when Cena was around.
DVD Clearout: Raw, Smackdown, Nitro, Thunder, ECW TV, TNA Impact. MUST GO. PM me for details

Haha, it's time for talent to step up just so they can keep Cena's spot warm for him when he returns.
