I like it. Actually went out to download it.
Am I the only one who cannot stand the Summerslam Theme song? In no shape or form is a Jamaican accent a substitute for a good melody. Song sounds awful and is really cheesy. What ever happened to good old rock songs as themes??? Are they not PG enough?? Anyone remember Highway to Hell back in 99? Now that was pretty cool.

Yeah, I think it is good. I was never a big fan of all the rock themes they used to do all the time.
RIP OSCAR TAVERAS #18
First Ever PW Heavyweight Champion!
I hate it too. But I hate nearly all of the themes they pick these days. I really miss the nu metal and hard rock themes they used in the early and mid 2000s.
Chief Ass Whooper of Sorry Sons of Bitches! - Stone Cold Steve Austin
I mean, in the mid 2000s, that kind of music was popular. Not quite as much now.
But whatever, just a theme song.
The song does suck, at least they could have gotten a good Jamacian or Reggae song.
But instead of all these real songs by real artists id perfer them to just go back to the generic anual themes they used to use for the big four PPVs back in the late 80s and early 90s.
I know most of you are way too young to remeber them but for those of us who do, we know they were awesome, and the SummerSlam theme was one of my favorites, next to the classic Rumble theme.
Shout out to Bender for the Bad Ass Bad News Banner!
I miss having hard and heavy songs for themes/build up videos as they added that extra ''oomph''.
My favourite ever was the build up video for Unforgiven 99 6 pack challenge when it started all slow with Fear Factory then kicked in to System of A Down, it was awesome.
Now it just seems to be ''this song is (gonna be) hot, use it'', which in a way makes sense but doesn't mean I like it.
shit quality but you get the point

I really haven't minded them using Good Feeling, Wild Ones, Bright lights bigger city for the big events, more pop culture tracks, I've actually liked them, but what the fuck this shit is I don't know. I don't even really long for the days of the Puddle of Mudd tracks ect though I did enjoy them more but this theme is really below standard to me.
Plus is doesnt help that it reminds me of Reach for the stars by S Club 7.
I think it's awesome personally. Now that MITB theme they keep using is awful
( ?_?) - 97% of PW suddenly think Michael Cole is awesome. If you're part of the 3% that still thinks he is an annoying tool, copy & paste this into your sig.
Currently Playing: Suikoden 1, Max Payne 1, Beyond Good and Evil, MGS Peace Walker
I don't care for but I'm into that kind of music. That be said, I'm yearning for the days of Limp Bizkit or Nickelback band doing the theme. Ruining rock music is inexcusable.
It's Summerslam for god's sakes! Those other metal songs are awesome for pay-per-views that fit the themes - Payback, Elimination Chamber, Survivor Series you get the picture.
They are trying to build this as a celebratory type of pay-per-view and having a hard edged rock song really doesn't go with the flow. That Cee Lo song was perfect two years ago for everything Summerslam represents.
I swear some people haven't watched WWE from before the Attitude Era when lighter music was the norm.
Didn't they use 'Bodies' as the Summerslam theme one year.
No, not the Robbie Williams 'Bodies'
The theme doesn't get me pumped like I think a theme should. I just can't get into it.
(Mucho credit to Bender)
I wouldn't mind the Summerslam theme were I in a bar or chilling by the pool. As a theme for a wrestling pay per view it's really underwhelming.
Regardless of the genre a theme should get you pumped up for the event and in my case they've totally failed here.
Support the real Mr. Ass.
As someone that grew up with all of the angsty nu metal music possible, I must say that.............I like the Summerslam theme a lot.
Sticking to one super specific sub-genre and hoping that WWE does too is completely weird for me, I want them to experiment more with their theme songs.
That's all, folks.
I dunno I like it.
It fits the theme for the PPV, and it is a nice change from the usual rock that they use.
I like that song and loved when they used it for Wrestlemania.Originally Posted by Djm

To me I like the mood of an event to be based on the matches and not the location. Now I suppose you could say this song is related to Hollywood and becoming a star but that doesn't have much to do with Summerslam. I really wish they'd take Summerslam on the road again?
