Default One Last Big Event At MSG?

The MSG is going to be leaving in a few years due to the city of New York wanting to renovate Penn Station. While MSG will get a bigger better stadium, it still will never be the same. SO I was thinking, how cool would it be, to do a ECW ONS kinda thing, but with MSG. A Mix of a few Legit Legends, and give some of todays new Superstars a MSN moment.

I know there is NO chance WE will ever do Wrestlemania there again, but maybe a Over the Limit kinda Pay Per View scrapped one year, in favor for this.

They may do a SummerSlam/Royal Rumble/Survivor Series/Money in the Bank at MSG as one last hurrah or something. Maybe also a RAW.

But as for a new MSG, if it can hold at least 40,000 people, then Vince will kill to be the first to host an event in the form of WrestleMania there.

If something like that happens, you can bet your ass I'm there.

That's something I wouldn't miss for the world.

I think it would be fine for the event to have it's own name and it would still be enough for me to order the PPV if it were the last one. Call it something like Goodbye MSG, or something like that and have a good mainevent with maybe a legend playing a role like guest referee.

    Thanks JV for the artwork!!

I really like that idea, actually.

While I'm not exactly thrilled that they're moving MSG, I do think that a tribute would be wonderful.

They would absolutely have to include the Brooklyn Brawler in that PPV! While I do not like New York, I do recognize the history that has been made in MSG and it's ties to prowrestling. One more show would be a great idea.

Well, MSG is going to stay for like 10 years so we have a lot of time until then for a goodbye event, and even more for them to plan a great one as well.

I like it. One last be event at MSG, with a history of all the great moments in the building. It would be fun.

Speaking of New York, have WWE ran any PPVs yet at the Barclays Center, or even Raw or Smackdown! There's a great time to bring in the Brooklyn Brawler.

They had TLC at the Barclays in December. And they had RAW there just 2 weeks ago.

It would only be suitable if HHH headlined the show against HBK where HBK gets a one night only pass

Mania would be great event to christen the new building along with Bruno being there as mentioned already. Love that idea.

That would be great, but having at least SummerSlam which originated at MSG as the final curtain call would be fitting.

I would make SummerSlam the last event at MSG, and it would make a great title. I'd call it "SummerSlam: Sunset At The Garden." And Rush's "The Garden" would be a fitting theme song.
