Question chris jericho when will he be back

    according ot wrestlinginc.com

As noted earlier, Chris Jericho finished up his current WWE run at last night's SmackDown tapings. Jericho will start touring with Fozzy again from early August through mid October, with a brief break from August 19th - September 12th.
While there is always a possibly that he can return in late October, a return in early 2014 seems more likely. The timing would coincide nicely with Jericho's plans to release his next book in February 2014

Jericho is one of my favorites, but it's been very disappointing to see him come back and job out so much. As a fan I'd rather him not come back if he's only going to be putting people over.

RVD going over Jericho was the jobber torch being passed

I don't mind it. Jericho is having fun and helped build Fandango up. I mean who would take Fandango seriously if say Kofi was his first feud rather than Jericho? Jericho has a name value so having a win over Jericho even a small package at WrestleMania built Fandango more in that match than a full-fledged feud with Kofi ever would.

He doesn't need to win anymore...he just comes back to have fun and make a lil doe.

He doesn't mind putting people over and I don't mind seeing him as long as he's in as good of shape as he's kept in.

As soon as he tweets that he's not coming back, we'll know he's about to come back.

    Pretty much.

At least they're not angling for another "forced retirement"/"firing" storyline for him this time, right? I didn't have a chance to read the spoilers, so I'm assuming that's not the case. They'd make a bigger deal out of it if that was the case. It'll be sad to see him go, but it's nice to know that he can come back whenever he wants, pretty much.

And it's good that they got RVD to come in and take his place at exactly the right moment.

RVD and Christian could replace Jericho in putting younger talent over. And they don't even have to job as much. All creative has to do is put them in strong feuds with the younger guys.As long as they make the new guys look good in their matches(they have the experience and ability to do it) and let them win the feud in the end, they'll be fine in that role.

I'm not a fan of the current version of Jericho. I do enjoy both his lighter side and his serious roles as well. I found this last run though to just be like Jericho super bland. He still handles himself in the ring well but it didn't seem like anything when he would lose to whoever that week. It never felt like he was potent any more. Just some job guy with a coat with lights on it. Beating Jericho should be a huge deal. Just never seemed like it was.

When he comes back he needs a decent run with wins and a WrestleMania win. He's too unselfish at times.

The HOF proved how far he is willing to go to put someone over regardless of how over they already are. Unfortunately it makes being Jericho far less significant each and every time he does it.

His run really hasn't blown me away this time around. He had a good match with Van Dam on Raw. But, he looked a bit sloppy in a lot of the matches he's been apart of. Seems like age is creeping up on him. As for the thread title, I'd imagine that he will be back around the end of the year or the beginning of next year.

How can age affect a wrestler?

more risk of getting injuries, not as fresh as he once was when younger, and frankly even van dam felt a bit slower than he was 10 years ago.

I'm not seeing any of this supposed sloppiness, and I don't care if they are slower than their primes either. I'm not expecting a super fast 1995 ECW spotathon when I see Chris Jericho vs Rob Van Dam in 2013, but that doesn't mean they can't still work an awesome match. And that's exactly what they did.

It will be many years before Jericho becomes dull to watch. He is one of the greatest.

If the WWE only had upper card talent who refused to put others over they'd never get anywhere. Bless Jericho and his ability to pull a good match out of almost anyone and put them over.

I'd say you could put Christian in there as well. I'm not sure I'd lump RVD with Christian and Y2J though. Both Christian and Jericho are talents who can have a great match with a mop and make it look like a Dyson vacuum.

ICAM. Save us Y2J. He may need more time off to persue other endeavors from time to time or take a break but I will always be thrilled to see him back. He has yet to lose a step like so many are claiming.
