It's missing the Ultimate Warrior match. What a ripoff.
I like that they have gone for matches that you don't see on a lot of other dvds. The Steamboat match is pretty rare. I've only seen it once and that was on Youtube. I think it's good that they've gone for an early Foley match rather than what they usually go for from these two. A little disappointed that no Three Stages of Hell is on there but the Iron Man is just awesome. I like that they've got a Flair match and a match from the Hardy series as well. And they've gone for the best Orton match of their feuds.Originally Posted by WWEDVDNews.com
The documentary what the dvd is about though as with others in recent years. Over 2 hours about his life and career. It's been a long time coming...I can't wait!

I hate that the WWE are pushing everyone to try and get people to buy the blueray versions of the DVD's. I'm sure the documentary will be really good, but the matches on the DVD are not anything to right home about. Could have put a whole bunch of better matches on here.
Thanks too Fresh Prince
Very much looking forward to the documentary as WWE consistently nails um, the match contents...not so much.
Why that tag match is on there is baffling but the street fight at the Rumble, the match that made Triple H isn't is bemusing.

The Street Fight is on a lot of DVDs so I imagine that's why they haven't put it on this one.
I think they've just gone for fairly rare matches for people to add to their collections with the draw of the DVD being the documentary and all the Blu-Ray extras.
I've gotten to where I buy all of my wrestling blurays off of ebay anyway, so I usually get them cheaper than the DVD at a store.
I think this will be a buy.
Like a lot of members I'm disappointed with the match contents. However, as Miss HHH pointed out you need to consider that a lot of the matches that would be ideal already feature in a number of other sets. In fact, this is what the first HHH compilation looked like...

That at least explains why a lot of his early WWE career isn't included. I found it strange that they only included the one match from 95-99 and thought it may have had something to do with Chyna but really the first set featured the majority of them.
Voodoo Ain't Easy
It is a little annoying they missed a couple of years match wise..but I doubt it's because of Chyna. She has a whole section named after her in the documentary part so she obviously gets talked about. As you say it's most likely because they've been on other sets.
The match listing is worth it alone to have the Iron Man match on DVD. I'm stoked for that.
However, as Miss HHH said, the documentary is what I'm looking forward to most.
Damn cool and fitting title for this as well.
Meh... I'll wait til it goes on Netflix just like everything else.
Finally, we get the Iron Man match! I just wish they would've his 2004 match against Eddie Guerrero.
I always enjoy any documentary the WWE does...hopefully they mention his feud with Kurt in it. He was so tapping Steph...
2x PW Power 25 Winner
Currently Playing - Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Super Mario 64
Aside from the last few years of his career, there doesn't seem to be anything in this documentary that they haven't already addressed
Eek...that's a bad cover.
I'm not complaining about the simplicity or the skull -- it does look cool...for a sci-fi/fantasy book cover. Just doesn't scream wrestling.
I really like the simplicity of it and the fact that it didn't look to wrestling-y I thought of as a plus.
I'd have liked to have seen his matches from Fully Loaded 2000 and No Way Out 2001 on there. Same with the Foley matches in early 2000. I know that's a lot of content that's been released before, but I'd like to see those great matches without the oppressive blur.
Otherwise, I'm down for this. I don't have the Iron Man or No Mercy 2007 on DVD. Must-haves for anyone who likes Game-boy's work.
The trailer has been released:
Seriously can't wait for this. It's going to be awesome.
WWE documentary DVD's are kinda boring. I hope they include something different in this one.
I don't care about the matches as I am not a big fan of HHH's in-ring work. However, I can't wait to watch the documentary. The WWE have made some great docs over the past few years and I expect this one to be great too.
First Ever PW Heavyweight Champion!
looks awesome! whens the release???
