Default Mass Talent Cut from Impact Wrestling

Today might be an interesting day for TNA as rumors of mass releases(Possibly 8... Which is vaguely ironic...) are floating about. Madison Rayne and Sam Shaw seem to be the first to go. The only question left is: Who is next?

Taeler (sp?) Hendrix is next. I only liked her for her looks to be honest, she wasn't anything special in the ring.

    Ah well.

    Joey Ryan? Fuck this company.

Add Crimson to the list of TNA releases today. That one is pretty surprising, given that he was just brought back to TV a few weeks ago and had a really good showing on the mic.

Crimson was signed to TNA in 2010 and initially debuted with a long-running undefeated streak. The streak was ended at the 2012 Slammiversary PPV in a loss to James Storm, at which point Crimson was only used sporadically.

Madison Rayne & Taelor Hendrix leaving on the same day is almost too much for me to handle!

So, TNA invented a whole concept just to superpush Joey Ryan then release him a few months later? Why am I not suprised?

Good news, the living CAWs are gone but TNA released a lot of talented guys. Christian York, Joey Ryan and a pregnant woman are gone. TNA just committed Black Wednesday.

Sam Shaw: Definitely a living CAW. A tribal tattoo will probably make me standout in wrestling. Not a big lost IMO.
Christian York: He wasn't bad so kinda sad to see him go.
Taylor Hendrix: She had a good look so bet if someone better at training female wrestlers got a hold of her TNA would want her back.
Madison Rayne: Really didn't think she would come back after getting pregnant. Big lose for the knockout division, but then again it only like six knockouts so any loss is a big loss.
Joey Ryan: Once he got to active roster he was horribly used.

Always thought Crimson sucked so glad he's released. Not really bothered about any of the others going either, tbh. I don't think any of them are a big loss to the company.

Stories of TNA being behind on pay floating around though...

Sucks that Sam Shaw got cut. They didn't even use him. Gutcheck is a poorly planned out idea. The KO's are just a rest stop for former divas any young talent or indy wrestler would be unwise to go there. Hell NXT is a much better platform for them to get better in because even if the landscape of the main roster doesn't change at least WWE cares a little more about it then TNA.

Default Mass Talent Cut from Impact Wrestling

Reports are showing that TNA has released several members of the roster today, including:

    Sam Shaw
    Christian York
    Taylor Hendrix
    Madison Rayne
    Joey Ryan
    Crimson

    Thoughts?

Shaw hasn't been released (yet). PWInsider corrected themselves and issued an apology for including him in the list of cuts.

Talking about it in the general thread and Sam Shaw apparently isn't cut.

It's funny how "certain" WWE fans only ever pop in here when there is reportedly "bad news".

I also refuse to acknowledge any posts relating to "TNA having financial difficulties".

    Anyways my opinion on the following wrestlers;

Christian York: Looks like he could have plenty of potential, just needed to start showing it, not surprised to be on "the list".
Taylor Hendrix: Not someone I would miss if she's on "the list".
Madison Rayne: I assumed she was going to be leaving indefinite because of her pregnancy.
Joey Ryan: Didn't see exactly what the push was about, no loss if he were to be on "the list".
Crimson: I was impressed with what he was given, I just think he needs more time to prove himself. Surprised if he's on "the list".

Mess with E.C.3. and you're in for; Trouble, Trouble, Trouble, Trouble, Trouble, Trouble, Trouble....

Christian York, really? Big mistake there, IMO. Seems a bit strange that Crimson has recently returned to TV and has now been released also.
    Thanks too Fresh Prince

Tommy Mercer to WWE then Japan. In others words, Mercer is going to be the next Lance Archer.

Sucks that Madison's gone but from the sounds of it the doors open for a possible return after her pregnancy (if she even wants to continue wrestling) as her contract expired and she wasn't actually let go from her contract.

Yeah, I just saw where they corrected the Sam Shaw announcement.

It's weird to have a monthly segment to introduce new talent if they're only going to keep them off the show and release them a few months later.

Also sucks they really didn't do much with Joey Ryan other then a short feud with Al Snow. I was really liking the partnership he had with Matt Morgan but TNA really didn't go anywhere's with them as a team either.
