Default Possible Newcomers to TNA....June 22, 2013 and on

Rules are simple. All talk of new talent you want to see in TNA goes here, whether they were recently released by WWE or ROH or another Indy fed, doesn't matter if that fed is in Japan, Europe, or whatever. Even if you went to some fan fest event and so and so said "hey I'm going to TNA". If they dont have a TNA contract they get to visit this thread.

    thanks

So word going around the internet is that TNA might be interested in bringing M.V.P. into the company.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Bruce Prichard has been making a play for former WWE star MVP to join TNA. If he does sign, he won't be able to use the MVP name. MVP has been trying to pitch a reality show on prison life and being in TNA could potentially open doors to Spike TV for the project.

MVP stated on Twitter that he would be open to joining TNA and working with the likes of Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Mr. Anderson and Bobby Roode.
I suppose if he were to show up in TNA, he could always use the Antonio Banks name he used prior to his run with the WWE.

Could be a very nice signing. I heard his stuff from Japan was fairly good. I wasn't a fan of his when he was in the 'E, but the guy definitely had something.

Wait... Are you suggesting MVP is a big money name? What's going on here?

There have been rumors surrounding the return of Generation Me to TNA, with many fans hoping this would become a reality, especially after their ladder match with Bad Influence at Hardcore Justice 2. Those rumors intensified when the duo posted a tweet earlier this week promoting next Thursday's Destination X TV special, so naturally that raised some questions.

It was announced via their official Twitter on Friday that they would be making a one-time appearance for Ring of Honor. It's worth noting however that they are not under contract, therefore they hold no obligation to appear solely for one promotion.
I enjoyed their first run in TNA and they had the best match at the Hardcore Justice One Night Only PPV... I'd love to see them return to TNA full time especially if they bring in the American Wolves as well plus TNA could really use them in the tag team division.

No, I want them to stay in DGUSA for a little longer. There are so many fresh opponents for them to face there as the tag team champions. Gabe may make them drop the belts though, since he had no idea they were doing a one night stint with ROH.

I'd love to see them weekly. Given the time to shine they are awesome. I've been watching a lot of old DGUSA stuff, I have probably the first 8 shows and I'm about 4 shows in and they were the best thing going in the promotion. Always produced. I wasn't blown away with their match with Bad Influence at ONO Hardcore Justice 2, but still it was match of the night.

American Wolves Davey is the only Davey I'm interested in so that would be cool.

    Bad Influence
    BroMans
    American Wolves
    Young Bucks
    Gunner & Storm
    Garrett & Wes
    DOC & Knux
Whatever Random Pairing of Mexicans They Feel Like Putting Together That Month

That's a pretty decent Tag Division all of a sudden.

Oy... There's a rumor that TNA may have signed Tito Ortiz as part of another joint deal with Bellator... I guess when you run out of former big name wrestlers... you start going after former big name MMA fighters... Oh, I so hope this turns out to be a false rumor.

At least title had a hand in AJ beating JJ for the title.

What? The NWA TNA Title helped AJ Styles win a match? Amazing!

    Sorry. I couldn't resist.

Anyways, Tito Ortiz is even worse than King Mo and Rampage Jackson combined when it comes to cutting a promo(Especially since he has that whole soft spoken thing working against him). TNA don't need that shit. Give us freakin' wrestlers, I says!

Even though they are former WWE guys I still want MVP and John Morrison there.

Would love to see American Wolves and Gen Me in TNA to get the tag division rolling again.

All I want is Kevin Steen, AW, Gen Me and few other ROH talents. It's for TNA to raid the indies for talent and get some new blood and mix it with the old blood.

Ted Dibiase Jr. announced in the video above that he has decided not to re-sign and renew his contract with WWE. Dibiase said that the decision was personal, and that he wanted to pursue being a father and other opportunities. Dibiase said that he has had "amazing life experiences" with WWE, and noted that he will miss the company and the fans. He stated that this is not necessarily permanent, but that this was something he needed to do right now.

If they really do have budget constraints I'm not sure bringing in DiBiase is the best thing for them.

There are better talents on the Indy scene that they could probably get for cheaper.

Better? Sure. But he has some name value.

The DiBiase name does yes but that has nothing to do with him. He has very little on his own.

One of the things TNA need to get away from, imo, is hiring average talents just because they worked for WWE....Especially after they've just released a load of guys because they're struggling.

Could not agree more. Hiring DiBiase Jr would just show nothing has changed at TNA and they are still WWE-lite.
