Default WWE.com Ranks the Top 25 WWE Managers

    http://www.wwe.com/classics/classic-...anagers/page-1

Another great article from WWE.com. What do you think? I think they're pretty spot on except maybe Jimmy Hart and Freddie Blassie should switch places. No way is Sunny #12, should be a few more further down, maybe like #17 instead. And maybe MDM is too far down too, definitely above Teddy.

Who are they forgetting, I get the feeling that they snubbed someone but I can't remember who?

Here's the list if you don't want to read the article:

    #25 The Genius
    #24 Marlena
    #23 Michael Hayes
    #22 Armando Estrada
    #21 Oliver Humperdink
    #20 Harvey Wippleman
    #19 The Million Dollar Man
    #18 Teddy Long
    #17 Stephanie McMahon
    #16 Slick
    #15 Vickie Guerrero
    #14 Paul Ellering
    #13 Miss Elizabeth
    #12 Sunny
    #11 Mr. Fuji
    #10 Jim Cornette
    #09 Arnold Skaaland
    #08 Paul Bearer
    #07 The Grand Wizard
    #06 Sensational Sherri
    #05 Captain Lou Albano
    #04 Freddie Blassie
    #03 Jimmy Hart
    #02 Paul Heyman
    #01 Bobby "The Brain" Heenan

Before I clicked this list I said to myself if Heenan isn't #1 then I have no time for this list. Glad to see I was disappointed. Also Heyman as #2 is perfect. Always loved him going back to NWA with his ridiculous cell phone.

I would have taken two of the lower ranked people off (such as Stephanie, as 'manager' isn't one of the first things that come to my mind when looking back on her on-screen career) and gave Melina and Lita spots. Melina managed Mercury and Nitro to a ton of titles and I don't think they would have been as successful or as important of a tag team at the time without her. Lita because when she was with the Hardys she got her hands dirty with the guys, no matter what type of match, which was really some groundbreaking stuff. And then of course she helped propel Edge to heights he was not previously at. Plus she was insanely over, as were the people she was managing, during both roles. Her overness rivalled the men in the company.

even though i prefer Heyman personally, id of switched him and capt. lou around in the top 5.

Stephanie even making the list is a pile of crap let alone above 8 others (ok maybe im fine with her above marlena and the genius so ill say 6 others)

No way Heyman should be above Jimmy Hart...and I'm a Paul Heyman guy!

Well, usually in these things they lump in WCW, WCCW, and ECW.

not so sure this time. every person on that list has actually been with WWE at one point or another.

even the 4 horsemen's JJ dillon is missing.

Heenan as number one, there's no other alternative. I believe he got a huge payday out of WM3 because Vince attributed a lot of the success to him, because Hogan and Andre sure as hell couldn't talk those people into buying a ticket.

I just went back and watched Heenan's HoF speech again. Definitely deserves to be #1.

    Capt Lou is too low.

The other, of course, involves orcs."

I thought Elizabeth was too. SHouldn't Chyna get some consideration?

Otherwise I agree, this is a pretty good list.

Captain Lou is a legend, sure, but he bounced between clients like Paul Heymans cheques.
