And Josh wonders why JBL tells him to shut up all the time.

Cody vs Miz was a nice match, with a very expected ending...Cody tapping to the figure four.

Highlight was Josh Mathews going heel again, talking about the trouble Miz has had with the figure four leg lock in the past.

I'd love to see Chris Jericho pick up the win over Fandango but I doubt that'll happen.

    Summer Rae looking lovely tonight.

    Default Forum Down?

I'm guessing by the times last posted the forums were down for most of the PPV?

tbh I think it saved us a lot of bitching about that really poor PPV.

What didn't you like about it?

I thought the main events delivered, and the undercard was decent with one huge markout moment in Orton's punt.

I loved Cena vs. Ryback, especially the ending, and thought Triple H vs. Lesnar was far better than their WrestleMania match.

The finish to the Del Rio/Swagger match was just ridiculous. I could go into it in depth but I think everyone could see what an absurdly terrible piece of booking that was.

I was never going to care about Orton and Big Show, and I guess the return of the Punt was cool if you were into it, but I would have rather seen all that time go to lengthening the two Shield matches, particularly the tag which was the most interesting of the night despite being criminally short.

Cena vs Ryback was fine, but they didn't play the finish very well at all. There was absolutely no explanation of why the match finished - they didn't even bother to say that both men were unable to make the 10 count - even though Ryback got to his feet (even with assistance) and Cena didn't. All the sensationalising about how it was "too extreme" and a Mick Foley type moment was laughable and just served to make what was a cool spot less exciting.

Brock vs HHH was pretty awful again. The storyline of the match was just so ass backwards with Triple H playing the heel while building up sympathy for Brock and then for Lesnar to need Heyman to win whilst JBL talked about how "if HHH can't beat Brock then who can?!" even though he's 2-2 since his return. Triple H attempting yet another heroic exit to absolutely no reaction from the crowd was embarrassing and (along with Foley's comments on the post-show) makes me feel like we're going to get this match again and again until he gets some sort of a pop.

Seriously!? Ryback won the match! There was no count. The ref just ended the match just because. The fans got robbed of a finish when it was clear that Ryback made it to his feet while Cena was still down. This was not a No Contest. Ryback got up! He should be the Champion. In a Last Man Standing Match, a guy got to his feet while his opponent was still down, and he doesn't win the match? Like the fans in the arena chanted, it was bullshit. And after all that, Cena hops off the stretcher on the post-show and walks away. That finish was bullshit of the highest order.

The finish to ADR/Swagger was equally stupid.

Even in a Last Man Standing match, the referee has the discretion to end the match if he feels one of the competitors can't go on.

I don't. I think making a storyline out of the instant replay debate was a great idea.

I agree that it was weird that HHH was coming off as the heel, and Brock the face, but I still thought the match told a solid story. Brock did a brilliant job of selling his leg and looked awesome in fighting through it (although I could have done without the Heyman low blow, but I guess it makes sense if they're continuing it).

And as far as Ryback winning the match is concerned, I get the complaint there, but I was too focused on the awesomeness of the spot to really give a flying fuck (not to mention the match being great even before that). And, while you guys may not have bought it, they WERE trying to sell it as the guys' safety becoming more important than the match outcome. Notice that they never even really mentioned Cena still being the champion.

That may also directly play into Ryback's upcoming heel promos, because he can now claim even more that he was screwed out of being champion.

    So, what the hell happened?

"Every man's heart one day beats its final beat, his lungs breath their final breath. And if what that man did in his life, makes the blood pulse through the body of others, and makes them believe deeper in something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized by the storytellers, by the loyalty, by the memory, of those who honor him and make whatever the man did live forever."
