Default Extreme Rules 2013 Predictions Thread

    - Several fans sent word that cable guides are listing Sunday’s WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view as being TV-14, not TV PG.

    Read more: http://www.pwmania.com/evan-bourne-t...#ixzz2TeTWkSZr
I think this means that we may see BLOOD! Well maybe not (on purpose). Probably just a mistake.

As for the match predictions, these are mine in the order which I think they'll go - from main-event to opening match.

    Steel Cage Match
    Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar

Brock has to win here but I don't think he'll pin or make Triple H submit. Brock will won by exiting the cage thus he wins without having Triple H lose.

Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship
    John Cena vs. Ryback

The Shield attacks, both men can't answer the ten-count and it's a no contest.

    Extreme Rules Match
    Randy Orton
    vs. The Big Show

    Orton wins. Meh.

World Heavyweight Championship Number One Contender's I Quit Match
Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger

Del Rio wins. Babyfaces usually win these types of matches. Plus ADR will need to get his one-on-one rematch for the title, so he has to win. Also Swagger is a fuck up.

Tornado Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
Team Hell No (Kane & Daniel Bryan) vs. The Shield (Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins)

Match starts right after the United States Title match. Ambrose will get involved, maybe Kofi too but in the end The Shield's brand of justice will reign supreme when Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins become your new WWE Tag Team Champions.

    United States Championship Match
    Kofi Kingston vs. Dean Ambrose

Ambrose wins after a good solid match. Reigns and Rollins will come out, distract Kofi leading to Ambrose getting in his finish and becoming the new United States Champion. Kane and Bryan will come out to help but it'll be too late.

    Chris Jericho vs. Fandango

Jericho will get the win here but Fandango will be the one who leaves the ring standing.

    Strap Match
    Mark Henry vs. Sheamus

I honestly don't know about this match. Most would say Sheamus wins but I could see Henry winning here too. No one saw him win at Mania. I'll play it safe, Sheamus wins.

    Pre-Show Match
    The Miz vs. Cody Rhodes

Cody's a glorified jobber these days. Miz has a movie, he wins.

We might get another match added, probably AJ vs. Kaitlyn for the Divas Title. If so, Kaitlyn retains.

    Should be a good show.

I'll take a side bet on there being some blood be it accidental or not. Also why doesn't Chris Jericho vs Fandango have a stipulation? A regular old singles match is not especially extreme.

    Lesnar
Cena (I could see some type of no contest ending happening here, or Cena winning by the skin of his teeth)
    Randy Orton
    Alberto Del Rio
    Jericho
    Sheamus
    Miz
    Rollins and Reigns
    Kofi

For some reason I'm having doubts on whether or not Ambrose will win the US title. I could see the Shield trying to interfere, Hell No even the odds, Kofi hits the TIP and retains. But then immediately after, Rollins and Reigns win the tag titles with interference from Ambrose, and they defend it under Freebird rules.

    Steel Cage Match
    Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar
I think Lesnar goes over clean, pinning HHH

Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship
    John Cena (c) vs. Ryback
Something fluky happens here. The Shield or a returning superstar causes the match to be a no contest

    Extreme Rules Match
Randy Orton vs. The Big Show
I think the ultimate goal is turn Orton heel, so I see him pandering to the crowd and gets knocked out.

World Heavyweight Championship Number One Contender's I Quit Match
Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger
I just can't see them moving forward with a heel v heel feud.

Tornado Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
Team Hell No (c) vs. The Shield (Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins)
It's been a nice run for Hell No, it's time for the Shield to get some gold.

    United States Championship Match
Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Dean Ambrose
The Shield leaves with every member with gold.

    Chris Jericho vs. Fandango
I could see this one going the other way, but I just have a feeling Fandango is going to get a mega push, so he wins here

    Strap Match
    Mark Henry vs. Sheamus
    Henry gets the win

    Pre-Show Match
    The Miz vs. Cody Rhodes
I have no faith in them putting over Cody, so.....

If he panders to the crowd, wouldn't that technically be his choice and therefore his fault if he loses? So how would he be able to blame the crowd for something that is his own stupid fault?

I would ask if you're new to wrestling, but I know you're not and you're just being dense on purpose. You know that heel logic isn't always supposed to make sense, that's why they're heels.

Does Kofi/Ambrose & Jericho/Fandango have gimmicks yet? are they going to be given one? I'd like to see Jericho & Fandango in a tables match & Kofi & Ambrose in a Hog Pen Match (not really, just couldnt think of anything)

    anyway, predictions:

    John Cena Vs Ryback
Winner: Cena. I think we're in for long Cena reign.

    Triple H Vs Brock Lesnar
Winner: Lesnar. It HHH wins then fuck this company.

Alberto Del Rio Vs Jack Swagger
Winner: Del Rio. Just cos Dolph is the champ so it will be face vs heel whenever they meet up.

    Kofi Kingston Vs Dean Ambrose
Winner: Kofi. I'd love to see the Shield pick up all the wins but a Kofi lost can really hurt him as he has only just won the title and was jobbing beforehand (unless putting the title on him was just a way of getting it onto Ambrose.) Kofi to win and continue the feud into the next PPV. Gives the Shield something to fight for and add another dimension to there dynamic

    Hell No Vs The Shield
Winners: The Shield. I'd have preferred for all 3 members to be in this match and win the titles under the freebird rule but whatever.

    Sheamus Vs Mark Henry
Winner: Henry. Tough one to call as Sheamus never loses but i see Henry being the next challenger to John Cena so needs to win here to be in contention.

    Randy Orton Vs Big Show
Winner: Orton. Could go either way, loss would hurt Orton more, thats the only reason why i'm choosing him.

    Chris Jericho Vs Fandango
Winner: Jericho via DQ if no stip gets added as Fandango beats Jericho down.

    The Miz Vs Cody Rhodes
Winner: Miz because he's returning (and the pre show champion)

    Steel Cage Match
    Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar
Brock's gotta win. He needs it way more than HHH is they're going to continue to use him as a threat.

Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship
    John Cena (c) vs. Ryback
Cena. I don;t see his reign ending this early. And they've already shown they don't care how many ppv matches ryback loses as a face. Doubt that changes as a heel.

    Extreme Rules Match
Randy Orton vs. The Big Show
I dunno. I'll say Orton by nefarious tactics. I think this feud is leading to a double switch. Orton to heel, and show back to face.

World Heavyweight Championship Number One Contender's I Quit Match
Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger
ADR so he can lose to Ziggler and they can move on. I think Ziggler may be face by Summerslam as well.

Tornado Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
Team Hell No (c) vs. The Shield (Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins)
Love team hell no. But it's time for the shield to take the belts, and d bry to wrestle singles again.

    United States Championship Match
Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Dean Ambrose
Dean Ambrose. This feud was rushed to the card, and I don't think they make this match is Kofi is retaining. He could've feuded with any one. I think they put the belt on kofi to get it to Ambrose in the future, and they decided like a couple weeks ago to move that date up to ER.

    Chris Jericho vs. Fandango
I'm not one for thinking Jericho is ruining his comeback with losses. He's Jericho. HE can lose a bunch and still be a threat. But, I'm confused that they had him lose to Fandango at mania, and then haven't really done anything amazing with Fandango since. No big wins. So, give Jericho the win this time!

    Strap Match
    Mark Henry vs. Sheamus
Mark Henry, cause That's what he does!

    Pre-Show Match
    The Miz vs. Cody Rhodes
I like both guys. It saddens me that they are fighting in a nothing feud on a pre show. THey'll probably give the Miz the win. No one seems to care about Cody these days unfortunately.

John Cena vs Ryback WWE title Last man standing match:

    Fan-Dan-Go vs Chris Jericho:

Fandango with a leg drop from the top rope

Mark Henry vs Sheamus strap match:

Rollins and Reigns vs Team Hell No Tag team title tornado match:

Rollins and Reigns after a Rollins flying knee from the top rope.

Ambrose vs Kingston U.S title match:

Ambrose after he rips the top rope off and hits kofi in the head with it, and the ref doesn't see it, because he tripped over the bottom rope.

I'd say the only predictable matches are the Shield ones (in which the shield damn well better win) and the main event. Other than that it is pretty up in the air with the exception of the preshow match.

i quit number 1 contender world title

alberto del rio vs jack swagger

orignal slated triple threat with champion jack swagger however got a concussion during a match hence not to be strip off the world title thedore long decides to do number 1 contender and added i quit on top of it

i have nothing to say look for jack swagger to say i quit and alberto del rio is number 1 contender

    wwe title

    last man standing

    john cena (champion)ryback

ryback thinks he's being put to the side due to john cena he attacks him becomes number 1 conteder and stated last man standing match either shield will interfere or john cena will retain wwe title somehow

    tag titles

    torando

kane daniel bryan (champions)vs roman reigns and seth rollins

i think consider torando tag match the shield will win tag titles

    cage match

    triple h vs brock lesnar

3rd match within triple h brock lesnar saga both of them 1-1 so i guess triple h will win

    us title

kofi kingston (champion) vs dean ambrose

again i have nothing to say dean ambrosa will win us title

    strap match

    sheamus vs mark henry

so basically both of these folks has done tug of war and arm wrestling

i think sheamus will beat mark henry strap match

    extreme rules match

    randy orton vs bigshow

after being sucker punch alongside sheamus wrestlemania 29 by bigshow orton and bigshow have been at odds

anyways look for randy orton to win the match

    fandango vs chris jericho

fandango beats chris jericho wrestlemania 29 in his debut i think this time around chris jericho will win the match

I figured I didnt want to make a whole thread for it, so Id post in here.

I live in the St. Louis area about a half hour north of the city and have heard wrestlers sometimes workout at the local Golds Gym next to my work. I had signed up with Golds about a month ago or so, and figured "Why not go in Sunday (my off day) and just do light cardio?" Glad I did. Ran into Usos, Fandango, Brad Maddox, Teddy Long and Damian Sandow. All great guys who took the time to talk to me for a minute between sets. I made sure not to take too long of their time and wished them all the best tonight.

    Great experience.

He will blame the crowd for the loss. Something like "I had the match, but then I cared about you stupid fans, yada, yada, yada."

As Champ said, heel logic doesn't always make sense.

Damian and fandango were definitely standouts with being approachable. I ran into sandow before he was working out and he shot the breeze with me for a few minutes and posed for a bunch of kids that were there. Fandango even said his name for the kids. Really cool to see them do that while they were obviously there got a purpose
