    Default Sin Cara's Future

So Sin Cara made his return on Main Event on Wednesday in a pretty meh match with Wade Barrett.

Going forward, what would you do with him?

Have his constant injuries rendered him useless? Will he ever get really over with the US crowd? What do you think?

I'd release him. There are other hispanic wrestlers in WWE who are more reliable and can speak english so they can communicate properly in the ring.

They really need to get rid of that terrible yellow lighting for Sin Cara's matches. It's just dumb. As for Sun Cara he was impressive as Mistico working against other luchadores, so maybe bring in some appropriate opponents for him in a style he is comfortable with?

I would put him in a feud or tag team with Evan Bourne when he returns.

If Sin Cara gets injured, Bourne will have failed another wellness test by then, so nobody is left in the dust!

But seriously, with how scarce midcard pushes are, and considering Bourne and Cara were in the tag division before their injuries, making them a tag team would probably be the best option. The tag division could definitely use it. However, I do think Epico and Primo desperately need a face turn right now, and I can't see WWE booking two babyface luchador tag teams, even if Primo and Epico's style is a bit different than Bourne and Cara's.

I think the WWE should adopt a cruiser-weight division and bring in more luchadors. Also put a mask on Hunico and feud with Sin Cara.

I would release sin cara. He has just been a huge let down since he debuted.
Anyway enough about him. Wwe should push Hunico when he returns. I enjoyed his last Mexican gangster gimmick

Bring back Sin Cara Negro and have the two of them form a tag team.

Bring Averno in and make them go Lucha wild in the ring.

One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

I was really excited when I heard that he was signed but I've really soured on him over time.

The suggestion of hiring more luchadores for him to work with is a great shout but if the E aren't willing to invest that heavily I really wouldn't be too sad to see him released.

    Thanks Heteroflexible

I for one was not interested when they signed him. But for some reason when he debuted I bought into the guy. But injury after injury and that incident when he and his gang threatened del rio at a house show I immediately lost all interest in that waste off space deuch bag.

I say either put him in a tag team with Bourne or actually do something with the dude. Give him a push or something, Jeez.

Hire a bunch of luchadors, put them all in different-colored Sin Cara outfits: Red (leader, original)), Blue, and Black (Hunico), lady Sin Caras in Yellow and Pink, and then eventually debut an evil green Sin Cara who later joins the team and eventually becomes White Sin Cara. Yeah! That'd be awesome and totally origin--oh, maybe not.

Seriously, though. If WWE made a serious effort to bring in some more luchador talents and actually PUSH THEM as a separate special attraction, they'd actually have something on their hands. As it is, though, Cara is fairly useless due to the limited nature of his character, the imposed limitations on his in-ring work, and his proneness to injury.

It seems like WWE just wants to have a token masked guy. So just cut Sin Cara and give El Generico his mask back.

They don't want a "token mask guy," they want a token "Mexican star who can be a masked superhero to the children and draw the Latino audience." And unfortunately, The Generic Luchador, talented though he may be, doesn't fit the bill.

Signing more luchadores to the roster would be like loading more cargo onto an already sinking ship. Sin Cara hasn't maintained the same kind of buzz he had when he first got to the company, and the fans seem to have grown tired of him. Other than utilizing him for a rebuilt Cruiser or tag team division, I see no other better recourse than to let the man swim over to the indies or back to Mexico.

They need to bring back the cruiserweight division for sure. Guys like Mysterio, Sin Cara, Tyson Kidd, Neville, El Generico, Bourne, Hunico, Yoshi Tatsu, Justin Gabriel, Bo Dallas, etc. can all compete for the title. I'd like to see them bring back the division at SummerSlam, Night of Champions, or WM 30 with an 8-man tournament culminating in the PPV match for the vacant title.

Unless WWE is going under and nobody told me, I hardly think it's "loading cargo onto an already sinking ship." WWE should bring in more people who can wrestle that lucha style because they are in need of wrestlers who can wrestle that style (and adapt it to fit WWE's style), and in need of a strong Latino draw (since I doubt Cara or Del Rio will ever fill that role). Even if Mistico ends up washing out, it's entirely possible they'll be able to find and make another star or two or three to replace him.

Might as well go the whole nine yards and have Rey Mysterio as Alpha, and a giant floating head on the Titantron during his matches. And Maddox and Vickie playing Zedd and Rita Repulsa.

They're already pushing Del Rio, who DOESN'T wear a mask anymore, as their "Mexican superhero".

Sin Cara should be the anti Rey Mysterio, ruthless villain, with a posse.

Sin car still gets reactions with the live audience based on his two matches back so I would not dismiss him as a failure yet, like I said bringing in more guys that can work his style and letting go crazy in the ring will only help him, hell it worked wonders for the luchadors in WCW and even if Sin Cara does not become the main eventer they want him to be maybe they'll find another luchador that cn fill that role, like Parka

Wait, didn't a guy named Eric Bischoff already do that like almost 10 years ago?

As far as Cara goes, I think it's too early to totally write the guy off. I'm going to go with the tried and true "turn him heel" logic. Give him a mouth piece and nick name, the diabolical faceless one or something, and see how that goes.

I would be all in on Parka! He was one of my first CAW's on WWE13, and the first one I won the Rumble and title with in Universe mode.

That's like saying Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio served the same purpose on the roster.
