Taz or Don West?

Who do you honestly prefer? I disliked Don West at the time and was excited when Taz first entered TNA but I've grown to despise him. I think his commentating is awful.. I can no longer stand his stupid voice and I just imagine in my mind that he has really bad BO.

Don West was annoying but I really think he did a better job of putting talent over.

Thoughts?

It's not even a competition. Taz is awful. Don West was actually good...he put over the talent and made things feel important. And he would get genuinely excited. Taz insults the talent, even before this heel run.

I will say that I miss, "Let the Pigeons Loose!" Even as a heel can't he make claims that Aces and Eights are trying to recruit her or something?

I used too like taz's commentating. But since he turned heel it has been unbearable.

When Taz was commentating in WWE and Don West in TNA, I used to love Taz's and hated West. Now I'd do anything to have West back, Taz flat out sucks now. Terrible.

Don, clearly. He had a knack for making wrestlers and moments seem bigger than they are. Would the announcement of Joe vs Steiner have been nearly as epic if Taz and Tenay announced it instead of Don and Tenay?



When a wrestler or wrestlers did moves or sequences that were impressive, he made it seem much bigger with a cry of "YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!" And most importantly, the guy was clearly a fan and respected the business and men in the ring, and despite having no wrestling background, did a better job putting over talent than seasoned vets who became announcers.

This isn't a case of he was so bad he was good, he was genuinely good. People hated him for being overenthusiastic. I loved him because he cared.

I never was happy. I always hated the fact Taz waltzed in and got his job just because DUBYA DUBYA E!

At least we got to see Don West manage his favourite wrestler for a while. The Red/West partnership was awesome.

To be fair, Don West was pretty bad in the early days. I mean, he didn't really become somewhat ok until they did the whole heel thing with him.

As for Tazz, he really wasn't all that bad when he first came into TNA... I just don't know why he got progressively worse and worse as the weeks went by...

Anyways, if I had to choose between the two... I'd go with JB...

I would like you to watch the 2012 King of Trios. Steve 'The Turtle' Weiner makes Jerry Lawler and Tazz look like Jesse Ventura and Gorilla Monsoon in comparison. He's so bad he nearly ruined the entire event with his commentary. I think even Deej can admit he was painful during the 2012 Match of The Year when he just played with a rubber chicken most of the match.

I love Don and Mike I think they made a great team. As far as Taz goes I think they did his heel turn too quicky. I mean one week he talking good about all the faces and then the next week he running them down and putting over guys that he trash for years. I also don't see why he was put with Aces & 8's other then that hes an ex ECW guy and that all they are with a few other throwed in.

I hate 'Tazz on commentary, but I think the team of Lawler/Cole isnt much better. Tazz isn't justv bad himself, he makes Tenay worse too. Tenay just comes of as whiny whenever Tazz says something heelish. Right before Tazz turned heel Kennely helped alot on commentary. I would say replace Tazz with JB. A team of Tenay, JB and Kennely would be good I think.
