    Default RVD to WWE?

Firstly, this is pure speculation/wishful thinking on my part, but here goes anyway. For those that do not know, RVD's contract with TNA expired last week with what is said to be little to no effort from both parties to sign a new contract. Months ago on this same forum I asked if all of you wanted to see RVD back in WWE, or if we would ever see him in WWE again. Well, here we are now, RVD is officially the hottert free agent in wrestling. And based upon current WWE contracts of the likes of Lesnar and Rock, I would say it's very possible WWE would sign RVD to a limited date contract. So, will we see RVD in the WWE very soon?

And BTW, my personal prediction is that he DOES show up on Raw the night after Mania.

I think it'd be interesting to see a feud between The Show Stealer and the Whole Damn Show.

Aside from that, though..... don't really see the need.

He's not the same any more guys, if you've watched TNA recently the age is beginning to show on RVD now.

He'd be a huge disappointment... as T-Money alludes to, he isn't half the wrestler he used to be.

It will be nothing more than a short nostalgia run, if he every returned. He really lost a step during his time in TNA. For a while, I'm sure he'll just join Extreme Rising.

He's not anywhere near what he was, and even then he wasn't as great as people would have you suggest. A lot better options out there and RVD, at this point in his career, wouldn't have the motivation for the WWE way of life imo.

WWE brings out the best in him whether he wants to admit it or not. I'd be curious to see what their better performers can get out of him. I'm talking about guys renowned for going in the ring. Bryan, Ziggler, Cody, Punk, etc.

I would love RVD too return. Maybe he could have the contract Jericho has currently got.
WWE need more star power and he would be great too get some off the new guys over.

Stick to the sporadic appearances if he signs, legends deal or some sort of legends deal.

In PG WWE he would have to be "The Whole Flippin' Show".

I still love the idea of RVD more than I like RVD himself, but if he does come ill keep an open mind.

This is truth and reason it probably wouldn't happen for a while it could in the distant future though.

I would like to see him return just on curiosity on how the fans would react.

There'd be a few potential good/great RVD feuds if he was to return. Don't think I could see it happening though.

I would love to see Van Dam in WWE. Even if he's aged, I'm still very entertained by his mere presence on any wrestling program. With a 3 hour Raw to keep up, I think bringing Van Dam in would be a good move. WWE needs more guys like Van Dam to put over this new generation they are bringing up imo. Rubs are always good.

Anyways well I'll admit age as caught up to him, like Shinobi I'd like to see him back in the WWE.

He is hardly the hottest free talent out there right now. I enjoyed his run in WWE and I do think he could offer something in a midcard role but I can't see WWE clambering to sign him. Plus, as others have said, he has criticized and made his dislike of the WWE schedule well known so why would he go back to that now at this stage in his career?

I don't even think that'd be allowed in the PG content era.

I actually don't mind it . Obviously there are somethings I miss that were around a decade or longer ago but overall I don't really have a problem with certain words and stuff being banned. TNA is looser with it's rules and stuff though, right? I haven't watched a lot of TNA and I don't know what they are rated but that'd be another reason to not go back to the WWE; tighter creative control.

Same reason Cena's "F.U." and "STFU" suddenly became the "Attitude Adjustment" and "STF"
