This company really does deserve to burn out of existence.
What the fuck? How could they... This makes no... Urgh!Source: The Wrestling Observer
The talk in the TNA locker room is that talent relations head Bruce Prichard mistakenly allowed Bobby Roode's contract to expire. A source stated that Roode actually had to bring his contract status to the company's attention. As of right now, they are working to get a new deal done before tomorrow night's Lockdown pay-per-view. Roode can now play "hardball" if he chooses as he's booked and needed for the pay-per-view.
Story developing .... stay tuned for more.
According to TNA sources, there is some sort of a contract issue between Bobby Roode and TNA. If the issue is not worked out within the next 24 hours, Roode will not be performing at tomorrow's TNA Lockdown pay-per-view. Roode and Austin Aries are scheduled to defend the TNA tag titles against Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Hernandez as well as Christopher Daniels and Kazarian in a triple threat match.
Roode has not appeared on TNA TV since February 24th, missing the last two tapings. While people within TNA were keeping the issue quiet, it quickly became clear there was a problem since all the TNA talent was in San Antonio early for a fan fest today and there was no sign of Roode.
While TNA hasn't commented on the issue, word is that the contract issue dates back a few weeks and the two sides are talking to work things out.
This company really does deserve to burn out of existence.
I always thought his contract was until 2014. It looks like TNA did as well.
Also, I really wouldn't blame Roode for making the jump to Stamford.
Wow, he's one of the absolute best they have. You'd think they'd keep a closer eye on something like this.

I kinda doubt they simply forgot. He probably wants more money and they don't want to give it to him. You know, usual TNA stuff.
This is hilarious.
I love this company so much.
This will remain in my sig until The Rock gets his WWE World Heavyweight Championship rematch.
Wasn't there some interest from WWE in signing him? Now is their chance!
I love this story so much. I'm sure it will get worked out and TNA will go along like their not ridiculous but, for now, I'm loving this.
The flip side is Storm's contract was signed at the same time as Roode's so makes wonder what might be up with Storm's as well. Although we're still seeing him around so makes me think that if his was up for expiration they kept him around....

in 2013 my son died, and in 2014 my dad did, may they RIP
Fire Prichard, how do you screw up your job this badly?
I really don't know how TNA could let something like this happen.Bobby Roode is one of their top acts and main eventers and a guy who's been a huge part of TNA wrestling and has been in the company for close to a decade. To me if I was Roode I would take this as a slap in the face and would think that TNA and their brass really must not believe in me much.
I really hope that Bobby Roode makes the jump to the Big Leagues and joins the WWE.I think he would be a great signing and could be a main event player and draw for the company moving forward.I would also really love to see a Triple H and Bobby Roode feud, something I have dreamed about for years. In my eyes he could be a new era verison of The Game.
I hope that all of the talented guys in TNA make the jump and or return to the WWE at some point. This isn't a knock on TNA but guys like Joe,Storm,Aries...ect all should get a run in the big leagues to see what their truly made of and guys like Angle,Hardy,Bubba...ect should all get one more run before the hang up the boots.Truly the only guy in TNA that I hope stay with TNA forever is AJ Styles. To me along with Jeff Jarrett is the heart and soul of the company,he's the only one that just wouldn't seem right in WWE ala like Sting in the WWE.
So when is NXT getting their new signee?
"There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."
I know net rumors should always be taken with a grain of salt... but considering Roo suddenly went all ghost like 2 weeks ago without any explanation... Ehhh, you gotta think there may be something to all this. I'm just saying.
Anyways, tomorrow will definitely be interesting.
Isn't he Cena's age? I doubt WWE will have much interest in him, at least not as a long term main-event prospect.
It's confusing because it was he himself who said in 2009 that he signed with TNA for FIVE years. http://www.thepeterboroughexaminer.c...roode-re-signs
Though if there was some sort of mistake on his part and the contract was only for four years, it would expire round this time.
Now there's also a rumor that Rob Van Dam's TNA contract is up too.

Fuck this company, Bobby! Go to WWE! They'll almost certainly push you as one of the post-WM new faces! TNA doesn't deserve you! Go someplace better! Go someplace where shit like this won't happen!
TNA maybe trying to troll the IWC and make this a work like with bully&devon's contracts.
Quick someone tweet Triple H and Stephanie! Okay...I just did.
Seriously I think Roode could be a great fit in WWE, so if TNA dropped the ball I they should try and pick it up. My head says that Roode won't be going anywhere though.
