    Default June PPV called "Payback"

    -- WWE has named their June pay-per-view for 2013 WWE Payback. The show is currently scheduled for June 16th.

    This seems be a PPV theme similar to Backlash. If that's the case this PPV should be after Wrestlemania. Here is a list of the PPV schedule for 2013:

    April 7, 2013: WrestleMania 29
    May 19, 2013: Extreme Rules
    June 16, 2013: Payback
    July 14, 2013: Money in the Bank
    August 18, 2013: SummerSlam
    September 15, 2013: Night of Champions
    October 6, 2013: Over the Limit
    October 27, 2013: Hell in a Cell
    November 24, 2013: Survivor Series
    December 15, 2013: TLC

    So what do you think of the name and what possible theme to you see for this PPV?

    Theme is rematches of the rematches at mania?

    I think it will probably be just a regular ppv, at the very least the name doesn't bring any gimmicks to mind.

    I'm guessing "rematches." But Extreme Rules is a good PPV to blow off feuds. Which makes the "payback" name odd.

    It's a meaningless name that they tie in to whatever new feud that starts after ER. A heel will wrong a face, and they'll make a cheesy promo about how it's time for "Payback". I'm not reading into this too much.

    But seriously, terrible name. Just bring back Backlash, goodness me. It's pretty much the same except Backlash sounds 10x cooler.

    I think the PPV name sounds stupid, surely the geniuses in Stamford, Connecticut could of came up with a better name.

    Name is fine, but why not just go back to older PPV names like Vengeance or Bad Blood? Both of those names can tie into the same meaning anyway (not that the name will mean anything, it's just a new PPV name that sounds cool, will mean nothing in regards to what feuds and matches happen on the PPV.)

    I agree that it sounds like a PPV that should be closer to Mania


    Not a big fan of the name to be honest but at least it's not another PPV focused on gimmick matches.
