Like I said earlier, I like a lot about him. Everything I want him to be, I can tell, he wants to be as well. Working the crowd is a fine line though. If you don't work them at all then you risk losing the heat in the match. If you work them too much then you appear more interested in them than the match and that creates a problem, because the fans don't buy your legitimacy in trying to win the match. It's a very fine line and it comes with experience. Miz works them far too much. He's doing it for all right reasons, and getting all the wrong results.
He could benefit from a mentor. And I don't mean on TV, I mean backstage. Have Patterson take him under his wing or something. The most impressed I've ever been with him was a match against Jerry Lawler, because Lawler lead him to do all the right things and when that is the case, Miz has a lot to offer, because if nothing else, he is a charismatic fellow.
