The Rock in my eyes is dead and gone until he can come back full time and for the love of God work on his cardio exercise before he end up passing out during a match. Dwayne Johnson is dripping in sweat, huffing and puffing out of his mind the first few minutes of every match he is in. As a wrestling fan NOT a sports entertainer fan per say I think it looks very bad on your product when your top guy is a hollywood actor now....people crapped all over David Arquette's world title run BUT love Dwayne's run just because 10 years ago he use to be a wrestler ?? Give me a break.

What's next Vin Diesl and Paul Walker as the tag team champions ? Michelle Rodrigues as the Divas champion ? With Jordana Brewster as the stable's valet ?

I have not really enjoyed his work since his return. The Cena match did nothing for me. The Punk match was better written and Punk was active to cover up Rock's cardio.

I nevertheless show great gratitude to the Rock for bringing this business back into the limelight, when he could have just continued being a Hollywood superstar.

It's quite clear that his work is not the same, that's not hard to figure out.

You take issue with him even being around because he's in Hollywood now, and I don't see why that matters. If you have this issue with the Rock, you have it with Lesnar too. He left and did something else for nearly a decade too.

He hasn't buried anyone. And he's not gonna hold on to that title for very long. So somebody is going to benefit from it.

1.Rock only came back because his fans wanted him to.

2. He's only winning matches and the Title because Vince wanted him too.

3. His mere pressance brings in more viewers and press than would normally be there.

4. He's more than likely losing the title at Mania in less than two months.

5. His cardio isn't really the problem...JBL even said during the match that the only way to be in ring shape is to wrestle more matches...Rock was on TV all month before the Rumble but was kept out of the ring because Vince wants to save him for PPV...so not his fault he's not given warm up matches before big fights.

6. None of this even matters because Vince has already said publically that because of what Rock's done for the company he's welcome back anytime...so if you don't like his comebacks you're just gonna have to deal with it because fans will always welcome him back.

I will say this to somewhat defend the OP, pretty much all the Rock Bottoms he has done (esp. on Punk) have looked weak. He doesn't seem to get the same air time he used back in the day.

The man is 40. Surely you can't compare Rock in his 20's and 30's to Rock in his 40's. It's not like he's out of shape but age takes its toll especially when you've put your body on the line over the years.
