Sandow the New Triple H?

We all try to ignore him but we can't. But think about this. Could Damien Sandow be the new Triple H?


I have some coincidences between the two below:



Both Sandow and HHH were trained by the Great Killer Kowalski.

Both start out as smart snobs who think they are better than everyone else.

Both were and are in groups in the early times of their careers.





Those are just a few coincidences.



What do you think? Is WWE trying to transform Damien into the next Triple H or are they going to keep him the same?

There are obviously similarities but I don't really see their careers following each others paths that similarly beyond Sandow's current gimmick. You can't really be the "new" HHH unless you somehow become involved with the backstage/business side of it as that also affected his character and on-screen performance. Sandow will be the first Damian Sandow and I hope he has a great career because he is brilliant.

Ehh, I can actually see it happening down the road. Eventually Sandow is gonna need a new gimmick, so why not a Triple H type character? I think he would be able to pull it off. He'd just need to adjust his moveset and look a bit.

Sandow won't need a new character, his current character will phase out and some elements of it will remain but he will become much more serious. He should always keep the beard and robe though, I can see him being a great World Champion in a few years.

What group has Sandow been in? I wouldn't call having a partnership with Rhodes a 'group.'

Anyway, yeah, I could see Sandow having a HHH_type gimmick in the future, whatever that means. He and Ambrose are the main two guys I point towards that I think will definitely be big stars.

What if he gets stale in the future? All superstars need a new persona eventually.

I agree NickF. I think Sandow is an amazing talent.... it's too bad he's already in his mid 30's... but sometimes the right gimmick doesn't come around to everyone in their 20's. So I don't know if there is time for him to evolve as much as Triple H did. I do see a title run in his future and even a face turn once him being a heel gets stale, but that won't be anytime soon. He clearly carries his team right now (sorry Cody).

I think down the road for Sandow to advance to a main event talent, his gimmick is going to have to be altered a bit much like Triple H was but I just can't see them going that route with him. WWE needs that type of heel that HHH was back in 1999/2000. I just don't see it being Sandow.

Not the next HHH, but he can have a good career if health permits. I don't see why he can't be sucessful. On a side note, does Sandow come off like he's surprisingly big...when I look at him he don't really strike me as that big, but when he's in the ring with others he looks like he has size to me.

I would love to see Sandow have the kind of career Triple H had. He is my favorite midcarder right now and it isn't even close, hopefully he will be in the discussion to win next years Royal Rumble.
