For this character change Kofi would be a heel and do a complete 180 with his character.

The heel KOTR thing has been done so many times so if they did bring it back and Kofi did win it then I would prefer he stay face. Just make a more determined character, someone that acts like he wants to win the top belt.

Don't like King Kofi but do think a heel turn could be good....but make him a guy who'd cheat to get his wins and have him really not give a rats ass about pleasing the fans at this point.

Like if you turned him into the gimmick Shelton Benjamin had during his Gold Standard it'd work since Kofi is a notch better than Benjamin on the mic work.

I don't think he could ever be taken seriously as a heel. If he were a heel he would be a silly heel along the lines of 3MB.

Not bad. I like the idea actually. It would be totally different and could give Kofi a dynamic to his character. Nothing wrong with that.

Why turn the most consistently over face in the company heel? Kofi is that rare guy who has been face for years and is consistently over with the crowd, whether he is getting pushed or not.

If the WWE wants to get Kofi over, they give him the classic, sustained, year-long underdog push starting after WrestleMania. On the Raw after Mania, Kofi comes out and says this year will be his year and that he will claim the dream he has has carried in his heart for years, the WWE Championship. And over the course of that year, have Kofi working singles matches on every Raw, putting on gutsy performances against top guys. Have him win, have him lose, just have him there and have him look scrappy and hungry. When Royal Rumble 2014 comes around, have him enter the Rumble at No. 2 or No. 3 and have him win. And for the Mania main event, have him go for the WWE Championship, not the WHC, against a heel CM Punk. THAT is how you get Kingston to the top.

Certainly a lot better than where he is right now and he is yet to show me anything to make me like him. Make him King Kofi and give him a bodyguard and see where it goes.

I just can't picture Kofi as a heel! He's too nice. I could see him as a face King Kofi if WWE ever decides to do a KOTR Tournement again. I do agree that Kofi is getting stale as a face. I wish there was something in between though.

Make him a heel like Sid was during his 1992 heel run. Change his finisher to a power bomb and have a streacher get the guy after the match. Then he can run the streacher into the ring like Sid did. It worked really well for Sid, so why not give Kofi a run with a simmilar heel gimmick.

Yeah does really seem legitimately as a nice easy going guy. I just think if he was given an actual consistent push he'd have better heat.

There is no explanation needed, it's pretty much the same thing Booker T did years ago except without the accent and that many others have done before him.

As I said, it's better than nothing and certainly better than what he is doing right now. You may very well be right and it could be no different, but at least they would of tried something different with him.

Rather than making him heel Kofi needs to work on his mic skills and come out with a brasher attitude. The problem with him is that he is the constantly smiling face. When Barrett took his belt he was just like, "Aw shucks, I lost." and faded from the IC title scene. When he was feuding with the Miz for his last IC reign he was showing some attitude, but then he got back to smiling when he won the belt.
